Pros: The bed works well and adjusts wherever you want to adjust them too. Cons: Latex and foam mattresses become extremely sofe and floppy after two years and are uncomfortable.
We purchased these two twin adjustable beds in 1998 from Niagara sleep systems. The adjustable beds are great and have performed well. The first matresses that came with the bed was latex. Within two years they both were flat and uncomfortable. Called the company and after six weeks they brought one latex and one foam mattress. The foam matress had to be replaced two years later under warranty. Now in 2007 both mattresses are uncomfortable and they was flipped and turned as we were instructed to do. Both mattress are very uncomfortable. We are going back to the coil spring firm mattress as we both have back problems. This time we went to a local company and bought two coil spring mattresses that are designed for adjustable beds at $400.00 each. The latex and foam we paid like 1200 to 1500 dollars each. These new mattresses is made in Tenneessee and carries a ten year full warranty. Will let you know how they turn out.
Pros: Woke up feeling fantastic Cons: expensive (but worth it)
Just spent our first night on our new Sonoid bed and I feel terrific. We went from a "sleep number" (select comfort) bed to this and I am so glad we got it. My husband & I both have bad backs & being able to elevate our legs helped us both. When we bought our select comfort bed they promised we would wake up with a whole new outlook on life & feel rejuvenated (which we did) but THIS Bed is no comparison to that feeling. I feel like I could conquer anything today after sleeping so good & so comfortable. I will update this review in a few weeks or so and let you know how it is after a spell of sleeping on it. You know, like the honeymoon period is over, so I can give you real information. But I am totally impressed after the 1st night on it!
I purchased an American DreamComfort mattress with Sonoid Sleep System in 2001. I love the bed, but I need a new hand control wand (wired). Does anyone know where I might purchase one?
