This is the third "boutique" type hotel I have stayed at in San Fran and there is no question this one is the best. We stayed there in December, 2005, the perfect time to visit San Francisco. A small hotel that has six floors of rooms, it is located about a five minute walk away from Union Square. The morning continental breakfast is great- freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, assorted pastries, rolls and fruits. A nice way to start the morning. Dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel (Fino) is first rate. Portions are large enough to split and you get a free glass of wine if you are staying at the hotel. Oscar and the front desk staff are great- very informative and helpful.
