Pros: Easy To Read, Quick Results, Easy To Use, Cheaper Than Other Brands Cons: N/A
It took me nearly 18 weeks, but, I finally got around to writing a review on the Answer One-Step Pregnancy Test! This test was the very one that gave me my positive result all those weeks ago. With both this pregnancy, and my pregnancy with my...
Pros: Competitive pricing; easy to use; results easy to determine; you get your money's worth; Cons: ? Who likes to give urine samples?
Recently, after missing my "monthly visitor" I was worried enough to go ahead and purchase a pregnancy kit. So, here I am standing in the aisle of Kmart trying to decide which brand to choose. I quickly eliminated the cheapie brand and...
Pros: simple testing in 2 minutes Cons: control line different from some other tests, read instructions
I took the Answer One-Step Pregnancy Test the Sunday after Christmas of this year. In the past I have not had really good results with home pregnancy tests. I don't know if I have low HCG levels or what, but I usually fail a good many of them only to...
Pros: fairly cost efficient, reliable, and accurate Cons: none!
My husband and I tried to conceive a child for over a year. We though it was never going to happen! We had a lot of false pregnancy test readings and were so discouraged. I bought the advance test kit, with two tests in the box, and had already used...
Pros: cost Cons: no-frills, not always so inexpensive, bad design
Answer claims to be significantly cheaper than its competitors, and I suppose the only way to do that is cut corners on some "extras." In general, I'm a frugal person and willing to deal with a few rounded corners in favor of saving a couple...
Pros: Very easy to use and detects low levels of HCG Cons: NONE
Because it took so long for my husband and I to conceive our daughter, I think I've tried every pregnancy test on the market. I haven't used any other brand since I found the Answer One-Step test.
Pros: fast, can use anytime of day, came with a 2nd test free Cons: it is still peeing on a stick
When faced with the fact that I could be pregnant the last thing I wanted to do was stress out on which pregnancy test to use. As I stood looking at all the different tests, ANSWER caught my eye. I had used a few different pregnancy test before but...
A lot of us have made that trip to the store, haven't we? You know the one I'm talking about don't you? The one where you go into the store, bypass all the other patrons and come to the section labled "feminine hygiene?" Yes that's the one alright. For...
Pros: Price, clear, fast results Cons: No cover for test strip
I had heard of Answer brand ovulation and pregnancy tests but never gave them much thought because I usually go for well known brands. I had bought a pack of Answer ovulation tests and there was a free pregnancy test included in the box. My husband and...
Pros: 2 minute result, cheaper than most brands Cons: requires a higher level HcG to test positive
I have three children already, but it's been so long since I've taken a pregnancy test. Last month when I suspected I was pregnant, I was amazed at the choices staring back at me! Most of them offered the same thing, so I just grabbed one, which...
My husband and I have been trying to conceive our second child for many,
many, many months. I had to undergo some medical treatment that would
create a risk to an unborn fetus and so the day of the scheduled
treatment, I took the...
Pros: No chemical mixing, relatively accurate, 2 in a box Cons: hitting the right spot
These products try to make the complicated simple, but they forget one simple fact, don't make a product where the window needs to stay dry if you need to urinate onto it--it just doesn't work. If this happens, not only do you feel like you...
Pros: If you can pee, you can use it! Cons: Control line and test line are backwards from other tests
I am pregnant with my second child, and like my last pregnancy I took more than one test to make sure I was really pregnant. I used EPT, First Response Early, and Answer.
When I took Answer I looked at it and although I could see a second...
I was surprised to walk into wal-mart and see that Answer One Step had changed it's box. It looks very different to the other boxes on the shelf. It is a bright, orange-yellow color that almost jumps off the shelf at you! It is also a great value! I ...
Pros: inexpensive and accurate Cons: a pain like all tests :)
I've needed to use this pregnancy test three times and every time it was 100% correct!! It is very easy to use and the results show up faster than the 2 minutes the instructions state. The only problem I found was the cup that you use was rather small,...
I took the Answer pregnancy test when I was about 10 day past ovulation and again 13 days past ovulation. Both times it showed a faint positive result right away, but then after a few hours, the test line seemed to fade away. Nevertheless, I was unsure...
Two tests two different results by hindy ,May 20 '04
Pros: inexpensive, easy to use Cons: didn't work, no cap so you can't keep the test longterm
After missing my period I went to the drug store to buy a home pregnancy test. Answer was one of the cheapest there so I bought a box with two tests. It was easy to use but I little gross (there was no cap for the stick so you have to watch where you put it).
I watched excitedly as two lines developed --> positive! One line was much lighter than the other but according to the instructions this can happen when testing early on. I was very excited but I wanted to have a darker second line to show people. I waited two days and then used the second test That time there was only one line --> negative!
I used first urine both times and should have had a stronger line the second time. There is no contact info or phone number on the instructions so there is no one I can ask - one test was positive and the other negative. So am I pregnant? I have no idea. Ill have to test again but with a different brand this time
what is there to moan about.?......nothing by poas ,Aug 11 '08
Pros: Cheap; does the job as good as the expensive brands and better than cheapskate brands. Cons: Does not tell you the amount of HCG hormone that it measures.
This test did the job as good as all the other expensive brands in the time stated, I cannot see why anyone would have a problem with it. At least not enough to write an essay on the cons of it!
the only downside was it tells you on the leaflet that comes with it that you can use it one day after your missed period but not the actual levels of HCG it detects, which other tests do. You have to look on the net if you want to find this info. If you have fertility treatment it is quite impotant to be aware of how much HCG a test actually contains.
