I've been a huge fan of Apple's 12" PowerBook models for quite some time, bought three of them new, and still own one today. The 12" PowerBook, while still capable of many of the tasks we use our computers for, is definitely obsolete technology that has ...

I've had many computers in my lifetime and this MacBook was the best computer by far. Even though apple MacBooks are costly, they don't have all the problems that PCs have. For example, MacBooks have built-in software that block adware and pop-ups. Also, ...

Pros: Nice visuals. Good quality construction. Fast start up time. Cons: Not PC user friendly. Need to take classes to learn how to use efficiently.
I've had this laptop since November of 2008 and I'm not happy with it. I thought that I could use it to replace my old Dell and avoid the "blue screen of death" that had taken over my life. But unfortunately, the Apple 'freezes up' just as much. Every little thing requires specialized equipment or "transformers" to convert to PC user needs. My patience is short; so I was immediately annoyed when I couldn't reuse my existing keyboard(s). I miss the "home", "end" and "backspace" keys. I mistakenly thought that it would be "plug and play" but quickly learned that my existing PC peripherals would not work (keyboard, monitor and mouse). Even my iPod would not connect without specialized software (or erasing 5000+ songs). My 8 hour day requires PC use; so the ability to move back and forth (between PC and MAC) is too cumbersome. I wish I had taken more time to research before I invested in this machine; but will keep it for netbook use when I travel.
