  • Love my new MAC Book Pro

Pros: Boot up speed; seamless connectivity to other hardware; no registry file to mess up
Cons: Relearn shortcut commands as compared to DOS based Windows system

Summary: It does only have two USB ports, but I am using AIRPORT to connect to the Internet via my wireless router/hub, plus I was able to connect my Targus cooling pad to one USB hub which provides me with 4 additional USB hubs for a total of 5, counting the ... read more

Pros: Easy to set up. Comes with Boot Camp, lets you run Windows.
Cons: Overpriced. It won't connect to internet. Only has two USB ports. Are they kidding?

Summary: I've used IBM PCs for 16 years. Heard all this wonderful stuff about Macs. Basically got tired of buying a new PC every two or three years so I got the Macbook Pro, OSX Leopard, 15" screen, 3GB, ram, 200GB HD. CD DVD RW. By the way I paid more for ... read more

Pros: Top of the line laptop. Runs every OS on the planet.
Cons: OS X interface is still not scalable.

Summary: This machine is so close to perfection that its few flaws stand out more. First off, this is a beast of a laptop. It will number crunch anything you can throw at it. It will run Windows (if you must) in a separate window, or dual-boot for your ... read more

Pros: Great User Experience. Great OS and Applications. Great music and photos.
Cons: A bit pricey. Safari can only open one window at a time. I use FireFox.

Summary: I just got my first Macbook Pro. I have been a Windows PC user since they first came out (yes I was one of the first to have a x286 with a 20 MB hard drive). All I can say is that the Macbook Pro is SWEET. There is a bit of a learning ... read more
