I first purchased my Macbook Pro in October of this past year when I was looking for a computer that would suit my needs in upcoming college experience. I wanted something that would be fast, reliable, and adaptable to my already existing extensive library of music, pictures, movies, and DVDs. With the front row software all of my media became a dream. For that alone I would tell people to check out the line of mac products. I am able to do everything I could ever want to do on my Macbook pro and I've convinced about seven of my friends to purchase macs as well. If you can't afford the gorgeous 15" Pro, I'd recommend any of the regular Macbooks as well. I'm really excited about the new leopard and how awesome that will be. The Intel Duo Core 2 processor is fast! I wish I had 2 GB or ram rather than the installed 1 GB, but its easy to upgrade it and cheaper if you do it on your own. After going with a mac I will never go back to windows again.
