Pros: Fast, durable, reliable, small, clear screen. Cons: The warranty.
We bought our daughter the Dell Inspiron 4100 laptop computer in 2002 for her college graduation. About a year ago ago I wanted a laptop and she wanted a new computer. She wanted an Apple because she said that the ...
Pros: Size, Ease of Use, Battery Life, Apple's OS X Cons: Not a large enough standard hard drive, dim screen, might need more RAM.
I've been a Windows PC user my entire life (at 24 admittedly not that long, but long enough to remember my first computer with a 386 Intel processor and MS DOS). We had plenty of Macs around in both high school and college but I always found them to be ...
Pros: Visually beautiful, exquisitely endurable, light-weight, dependable, superb interface and graphics display - GORGEOUS!
Cons: No handle. But then again, it's light enough to carry in one hand!
BUT FIRST A WORD TO THE NEWBIE EPINIONS WRITERS... *This review was originally submitted under the IBook G3 reviews on April 14, 2004 as there had not yet opened a review section for the newly introduced G4. The similarities were quite ...
Pros: function, portability, Apple support is excellent, battery life Cons: smaller hard drive for uploading a lot of high mega pixel pictures
The iBook G4 was the first Macintosh computer I've owned. Upto that time I was a PC user even though I was well versed on using Macs. What I wanted: Like many I was getting tired of all the security issues with Windows. By the time I loaded ...
Pros: Small, light, stable, super-easy to use, lots of features for the money Cons: Less software available than for PC and what there is tends to be more expensive...
Yes, it’s true, I am now a Software Development Analyst working in a Windows environment, writing spec for IE-based applications. I know, I know, but let’s be honest here: it’s where the money is. :-) Too bad it’s not where the quality is… I’ve been ...
Pros: Simple to understand Cons: AppleCare can't fix, No 24/7 tech support, many compatibility quirks
UPDATE: Two years after buying this laptop, I am now the proud owner of a lemon. After numerous calls to Applecare tech support, I was directed to send in my computer; but it came back in even worse shape. Avoid this model. After years of ...
Pros: light, fast, design, desktop and everything else Cons: aim quits, itunes (but that is probably my fault)
I got this laptop as a gift from my parents. I knew that I had wanted a MAC laptop and was pondering between the iBook and the Powerbook. I compared the features of each notebook and I decieded to go with the iBook because it had everything that I needed ...
Pros: Beautiful design, iLife, no blue screens of death, easy to setup and maintain Cons: Not for gamers, more HDD space needed, software incompatibilities
I never thought I'd ever get a Mac. I always thought Macs were expensive and mostly for professionals. Plus, I never thought I'd want to learn to use a new OS. Things changed when my university's computer store started offering iBooks and PowerBooks ...
Pros: battery, stability, uptime, screen, price Cons: should have super drive available, glossy screen
wow! What a great product. Bought a refurb from the apple.com store and what a great deal it was! Got it with a 33% discount of the original price, which gave me the chance to upgrade the harddrive and the RAM and still stay under $900! I've been ...
Pros: Easy to use, portable, decent battery life. Cons: small hard drive
About a year ago I was looking for a laptop, although my Dell desktop suited me fine, I was finding out that it just didn't cut it at my university. With wireless access available everywhere on campus I needed a small, lightweight computer that would be ...
Pros: easy to learn, easy to use, stable, uptime, no viruses, quality and great service. Cons: ebay is slow with safari, otherwise can't think of any of significance.
this is the best laptop i've ever owned. i have a dell but the dvd player won't work and the windows viruses are such a pain. the apple works, works works, my 2 year old pulled off a key and it was covered by warranty they sent me the keyboard and it ...
Pros: The computer is small and lightweight. The color projection of the computer is solid. Cons: Apple doesn't care about fixing its problems, or living up to its reputation.
This is a negative review. My experience has upset me greatly, so I apologize if the tone is not as professional as it should be. Here is a copy of an email I sent to Apple about two months ago: 'I purchased an ibook G4 and the protection plan ...
The best computer I've ever had by mbutterfly ,Jul 29 '06
Pros: speed, portability, style, ease of use Cons: Doesn't come with MS Office - you have to buy that.
I cannot say enough good things about this computer. The processing speed is awesome. The programs are wonderful (except I did have to buy the Mac version of MS Office, so I could have MS Word - still, small price to pay). This is better than any Windows computer on the market today. It is faster, easier to use, and it doesn't crash nearly as much.
My father has always been partial to Macs. I've used both Windows and PCs, and I was a little hesitant about getting a Mac at first. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to "connect" as well with the rest of the world. Instead, I'm finding out that I can connect a lot better and faster (and in more places with the built-in wireless) than many people with PCs. Buy this. You will not be sorry!
Pros: Size, weight, looks, plus IT JUST WORKS!!! Cons: This machine is not for gamers!
This machine is wonderful. I've only used PCs for 25 years, and this one is one of the best.
I bought this machine for my Psychology Major son. He's no geek, in fact I bought this rather than a PC to keep me out of the long distance tech support "Daddy it doesn't work" sniffle, sniffle scene. I really doubt we'll cross that bridge... This machine is WONDERFUL
Great Superdrive, reads and writes DVDs. Great speed (granted we have a nice fast wi-fi network in our home, and a nice cable modem, but the machine is F-A-S-T)
Brand new and coming to you! by trustytrademan ,Mar 02 '06
Pros: looks cool Cons: Not enough space to list them!
Well its another MAC. this is gonna start some contraversy... buuuut
i hate MACS they aren't compatible with any of my other products like mice or keyboards. this really annoyed me as i had to poichase more for it. this isn't free it costs moola.
Any way back to the point!
They are now getting a pentium chip but what about the laptops anyone out there help me?
