When my wife decided she wanted an MP3 player for her birthday, I thought Great! She'll want a Dell DJ or a Creative Zen Micro or a Rio Carbon. But then she dropped the axe: She wanted an iPod. Being a windows guy, I have a hard time giving my money to ...
Pros: Steller battery life, simple, easy to use, great design, lightweight, good sound, lots of space Cons: Not very feature rich, included buds suck, charging over USB inconvenient, limited format compatibility
First and foremost, this thing is gorgeous! I get more compliments about my mini than I do about most of my clothes...*sighs* It seems pretty durable, too, with the anodized aluminum finish. Although, an eight foot plunge put a bit of a dent in mine ...
Pros: Super small, GREAT sound, easy to use, great design, A+ Apple customer service. Cons: Delicate by definition, expensive add on items, finiky software.
First, let me say that this is the first MP3 type player I have purchased/used, so I cannot attest to whether it sounds better or worse than the competition. However, having used portable CD players up until now, I can say that unless one is doing a side ...
Pros: Colorful, lightweight, good sound, excellent player. Cons: Does occasionally "stop" and need resetting, sometimes requiring draining the battery totally.
I really don't know how I ever got along before I had this handy little device in my life. To date I get along fine without a cell phone or a PDA, but you will get my iPod Mini from me over my cold, dead body! I wanted the mini strictly because I ...
Pros: Pretty in Pink, has more memory than you will know what to do with. Cons: The ear buds are uncomfortable.
I bought the Apple mini iPod in Pink, to listen to audio books at work. I found out about this one by visiting the audible.com website. Of course, I also use it to listen to my favorite music. I have been mostly satisfied with it. It has a lot of ...
Pros: Compact, cute and functional design, tons of accessories Cons: Ear buds aren't great, other players on the market are cheaper with more space
What more can be said about such a popular electronic device? I'll admit it. Part of the reason I bought an iPod mini over any other MP3 player was the "status" behind it. I refused to consider or look at any other brands. That said, I'm thrilled ...
Pros: Reliable, small, light-weight. Cons: Not compatible with USB 1.0, cheap headphones.
Some day I expect I'll tell my kids how the walkman was born and changed music forever. It was as big as a brick and music was stored in 90 minute segments on "tapes" that were larger than a 60 GB Ipod. Then came the Mini-disc player which blew the ...
Pros: Lots of accessories to personalize it to your life. Cons: Batteries don't last forever. Get iPod AppleCare.
OK. I love Apple. Why? Because Apple has helped me be who I wanted to be. I mean "Help". I mean "facilitate". They gave me the tools I need to be who I wanted to be. They are a company that just "GETS IT". It's that plain and simple. They understand ...
Pros: Looks cool, uhhhhhhhhhh....harddrive....hmmm...battery life is pretty decent. Cons: iTunes bad, sound quality poor, no colour screen but can't complain.
Well i got my ipod mini green 2nd gen for 2 weeks now. To sum up my feelings about it, well?? I am dissapointed. Design: Yup its great, I LIKE IT!!! It also grabs ppl's attention when you leave it lying on the desk. Batt Life: I got around ...
Pros: compact, vibrant, colorful, contacts, notes, games, calender, alarm and clock Cons: freezes often, black and white screen,it's compatibility
*LOOK AT THE UPDATE BELOW The thing that I'm most concerned about is that my ipod freezes constantly! But all you need to do to unfreeze it is toggle the hold switch and press the middle button and the menu button for 10 seconds. The second thing that I ...
Pros: Small, nice for travel Cons: Only holds 6 GB of music
This small, easy to use, mp3 player is one of the best. I have had one since August 2006 and it is still working great! I have little complaints for this product. It is easy to use, functions very well, and has quite a good battery life. If you have ...
Pros: Good battery life. Nice functions. Sleek look. Clean sound Cons: Ear Buds. Whatever. Games on the Ipod are unnecessary
What can I say. My wife got me an Ipod for a father's day gift. I was a bit apprehensive about the product. It is small, expensive, and kind of silly. Either way, I tried it and to say the least, I have been happy ever since. The unit comes with ...
When your Ipod breaks Apple probably won't repair it by rafs007 ,Nov 18 '06
Pros: When it works it works well. Cons: Apple does not honor their 1 year warranty
I purchased an Ipod 5 months ago. It worked great for that period of time. Then the screen would not show the menu. I tried all of the on-line trouble shooting steps, but it became apparent the screen needed to be replaced.
I requested service from Apple. They sent a package which I used to send the Ipod to their repair location. Within 2 days they made an incredible subjective decision that the unit had been dropped and would not honor the repair. At no time was the Ipod I purchased mishandled.
Their on-line process is setup to where you cannot contact them by email. The only other way is by mail or by phone.
Buyer be extremely aware that my experience shows that Apple does not honor their 1 year warranty and your $200 to $400 purchase may go up in smoke in a matter of a few months.
I bought the Ipod Mini about 2 months ago and I fell in love with it instantly! The sound is great and it is easy to use. I love the fact that you can download audiobooks into it. I also bought the Itrip accessory which allows you to listen to your Ipod music through any FM radio wirelessly. I use it in my car, at work, and at home. No need to burn cds anymore...not when I can take the Ipod with me and listen to it virtually anywhere. It holds about 1500 songs and charges using a USB port. It has about an 18 hour battery life, which seems about right according to my experience. It automatically updates when it is plugged into the USB. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves music!!
