Pros: Impressive display, full battery charges allows 14 hrs. of play time Cons: How did Apple know what I'd covet before I did? Hmmmm. . .
I finally have my first iPod product - the White Apple iPod nano. I did purchase a pink mini iPod for my boyfriend's daughter back in August, and didn't realize how badly I wanted one until after spending 4 hours upgrading the operating system of a ...
Pros: small and light, great sound quality, cool-looking, durable, iTunes ease Cons: expensive, no conventional charger, sensitive buttons
I used to have the iPod mini. Puke. It broke on me only 562 times. And no, it’s absolutely no hassle to send it back to Apple so that they can repair it, wait a few days for it to be sent back, only to find it broken in another few weeks or so. ...
Pros: Design, Usability, Style, Sound, everything you definitely need in a MP3 player, iTune integration Cons: Expensive for a 2GB player, Not as feature rich as competition
This is a unit my girlfriend bought after she saw my nice new 4GB black iPod Nano. We went to the local Apple store in New Jersey and could only find the 2GB iPod Nano. Wanting to make sure we could tell our Nanos apart, she purchased a white one even ...
Pros: sound, portability, no skipping Cons: maybe a bit too portable
I must admit that I was one of those repugnant Napster users of the first few years of this century. I personally didn’t sell any burned CD’s or reap any financial windfall from file-sharing like some people I know. Further, given a limited (well ...
Pros: Easy to navigate and not hard to put music on. Cons: Very short battery life!!!
This past Christmas, one of the gifts I was hoping for was a 2GB white iPod nano. I wanted this because to me it was the best MP3 player out there and it held many more songs than a single CD could. I also hated changing the CDs in my portable player ...
Pros: Small, light and offers great performance and battery life Cons: Scratches VERY easily and not something you want to drop.
The iPod Nano is a departure for Apple. Having owned a 4GB model since the week the Nano was introduced I have had plenty of time to put it through its paces, travel with it and enjoy the latest marvel from Apple's research facility. The Nano is tiny. ...
Pros: Good battery life, small, compact. Durable! Cons: Scratches a bit too easily; the earbuds that come with it are not good quality.
I was first hooked on Apple because they were offering the deal to college students. You may have heard of it: Buy the computer, get the Nano for free. Well, I took the bait, and I'm very very glad I did. Amazing 13 inch white MacBook aside (check ...
Pros: -The sound is great.

Pros: REPLACEMENT SYSTEM, oh and the screen, battery life, small size, sounds great, ect. ect. Cons: It is indeed pricy, and does scratch
I understand full well that there are many ipod nano reviews out there, so i will skip every single detail to give my opinions and thoughts on this, at risk of being rated "not helpful" I ordered my nano direct from the apple website, order and ...
Pros: Ha,ha! Just kidding:small, pretty, bright screen, easy to use software Cons: don't get robbed, expensive for a toy, scared to take out of house
This is an update since my original posting of this review two months ago. Since then the Nano has not made it over six hours before running the battery out. This is with all of the battery saving measures prescribed by apple, i.e. turning screen ...
Pros: -scroll wheel
-extremely small size
-stylish
-usb chargins
-flash drive (no moving parts) Cons: -the scroll wheel is a touch sensitive, but perhaps I am just clumsy
I would like to preface this by saying I am not an apple person. I didn't own any apple products before this ipod and was very sceptical to the hype. I am still sceptical to ALL the hype, but I can say that they do have their act together when it comes ...
Pros: apple care support
easy navigation Cons: easily scracthed
The Apple Ipod nano is a the succsessor to the old Ipod mini. The one it replaced was clunky this ipod is completely the opposite. Ive owned this product for about 6 months now and i bought it from circuit city and bought there protection plan (which was ...

Pros: produces good sound, fit many songs Cons: easy to loose, looses charge easily
I think that the ipod nano is a very good mp3 player because it produces good sound. you can choose so many songs and put them on on such a little thing. i think that the way it produces its sound is really good!when i use the ipod i always enjoy it ...
I received my IPod for my Birthday. I have not parted with it ever since. I listen to the music I download from the computer. It can store a ton of songs ( I download from ITunes) for up to 14 hours!!! The clarity of sound is perfect. It is very user friendly - my 8 year old niece actually taught me how to use it.
It is light and small and thus very convenient is storage.
Comes with a charger and a USB.
Horrible at first but now is great! by fastball1945 ,Feb 18 '06
Pros: Never skips, holds enough songs for me, great screen, well layed out. Cons: Scratches easy (front and back), earphones hurt and break easily.
Well, I will keep this story kind of short. I bought my iPod Nano 2GB at BestBuy and added the warenty package for an extra $50, for a total purchase of $250.
I had the iPod for a few weeks, barely used it. I had left it in my car for the night and when I returned the next day and found the screen cracked. I took it to Apple and they exchanged it without question. No reciept or anything.
Pros: Good screen, battery life, nice slim and light weight design Cons: No remote port, not alot of memory
This one tiny player! The screen is tiny yet photos and menu screens are still very easy to see and use. The Ipod Nano though short on memory delivers great sound quality and has a cystal clear screen.
The iPod Nano is just amazing. It's so small that it can easily be taken anywhere. It's versatile, unique, durable, and ultimately, stylish. It has everything you would expect Apple to put out. Its color screen makes the Nanos have incredible clarity, and ultimately provides a far superior product than anything else on the market. If you want something that's sure to grab someone's attention, then the iPod Nano is for you.
This mp3 player is perfect for the music lovers out there that hate carrying around bulky cd players. It's lightwieght, you can play games, write notes, store address books in it, and organize all of your music in one small compact unit. The battery life on this model is very good, it has lasted me an bus greyhound trip from Reno,Nevada USA to San francisco playing at high voulmes continusly, and still when I got to San Francisco there was just below the middle mark.
Pros: Ipod... works w/ iTunes, Plays pretty good quality Cons: Screen scratches easily (then can't see), freezes, downloaded songs dont work on other players!
The Nanos are small, therefore easy to lose. The screens scratch easily, and Apple is not thrilled to replace an entire Nano system, even under warranty. My Nano froze a lot. For technical novices or experts, I'd steer clear of this and get a bigger Ipod.
improvement over my mini by lopinionated ,Apr 23 '06
Pros: color screen, photos, album covers, no glitches, very smooth and easy to operate Cons: battery life could be a little better, a little expensive for only 2GB
I had bought an ipod mini a year ago and was very pleased with it for a while, until it kept having battery problems. I had to sent it in more than once so I decided to replace my mini with the new ipod nano. It looked sleek and had new features that I was excited to try out. Such as showing album covers, a nice screen lock, and being able to add photos!
So far I've been very pleased with my nano. I have the white 2gb one. Even though it holds half the songs that my previous ipod had it's worth it. I've had no problems with the battery or operating it. The small size is nice for carrying around during the day, but isn't too small that you can't hold/operate it.
Pros: different sound levels
cool cases
Cons: have to buy songs
battery doesn't last as long
This Ipod works so well the only problem is that the battery doesn't last very long. The songs also cost money, I wish they didn't. The sound comes out really good too and there are so many different sound levels to choose from. There are also games, a stopwatch, and lots of other fun goodies! It is also cool how many cases you can get like the sox! I recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!
too fragile for a portable device by neognostic ,Jul 13 '06
Pros: cool looking, small, good sound quality Cons: case too easily damaged, poor battery performance
Got the nano in december. After a week carrying it in my pocket it was scratched and dented, but damage was only cosmetic. Bought a $35 'skin' to protect it.
5 months later the battery started to rapidly lose its charge, then finally went completely dead.
Took it to an apple store for warranty service. "Genius" pointed at the scratches/dents on the case and said warranty was voided because product was abused. Wasn't interested that the product was protected for 4 months and the symptoms were obviously due to a defective battery.
I am very disappointed about the product's lack of durability and the Apple store's sleazy refusal to honor the warranty, especially since they just lost a class action suit about the case's lack of durability. How dare they blame me?
So much in a little iPod by kellieuc316 ,Nov 14 '07
Pros: Holds many songs and has clear sound. Cons: Sometimes doesn't respond well or freezes.
The iPod Nano is one of the best purhcases I have made. I didn't listen to music as much as I do now. I received the iPod for Christmas two years ago and I use it everyday. I use my iPod in my car on my way to school, when falling asleep, and during exercise.
The iPod doesn't hold as many songs as I would like, therefore, I hope to get an iPod that has a larger song capacity. Starting with a nano was a smart choice because I was smart because I didn't need many songs. Now that I listen to music frequently I want to upgrade.
Overall, the sound of my iPod is very clear. Although it is scratched up quite a bit it still functions very well. Every once in a while my iPod will freeze and it takes a couple minutes to turn back on again. It is frustrating, but luckily it doesn't happen everyday.
Pros: Design, Storage Space, Coolness Factor, Great Sound Quality Cons: Price, Lack of Certain Desired Features, Fingerprintability, Lack of Included Power Adapter
Nice... this was (and is) my first iPod, and I'm very happy with it. At the time of purchase, the extra $50 just wasn't going to be available to me any time soon, and I REALLY wanted this iPod. Turns out 2GB was enough for me.... I've got 707 photos, 456 Songs (About 24.3 hours), and more than 1,000 notes stored on my iPod (although only 1,000 can be viewed at a time), still with 133MB leftover space. That's plenty more than enough for me. The design is purely stunning, Battery life is usually enough for me, although I reccomend getting the power adapter for travel. The lack of built-in FM Transmiter/Reciever and a Data Entry System for the the Contacts and Calendars can get annoying though. I haven't had any scratches yet (I've owned it for almost a month) but the thing is practically a fingerprint magnet. All in all though, I'm happy with the product. Major props to Apple.
