The Pretty Get Prettier (And Gain 0.3 Ounces. OMG!)-The iPod Photo

by underdawg Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, May 26 '05
Pros: It's purty
Cons: It's expensive (but not that much more expensive than a regular iPod)
My 20 GB iPod's battery died the other day. It's a third generation model. I'd recharge it and the battery meter would read full, but it would only let me play two songs or so before shutting off. Stupid piece of crap! So here's some general iPod ...

by rancid1993 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 13 '07
Pros: High Capacity, Color Screen, Cheap Nowadays, Ease of Use
Cons: Battery Life, Size, Scratches Very Easily
My journey through the world of MP3 players has been very interesting and filled with subtle hints that I needed to splash some cash to actually get a quality unit. My journey has seen stops at such MP3 players such as Rio Nitrus, iPod Shuffle, and RCA ...

Sound Quality Not up to Par

by scitaborca , Apr 03 '05
Pros: Can hold a staggering amount of music. Photo feature is cool.
Cons: Inferior sound quality when compared to non-photo iPods.
Why I Bought a Photo iPod I've had a Mini iPod for about a year and absolutely love it to death. However, because of its small capacity, I've been itching to buy a larger unit that can hold my entire music collection. I originally ...

Good combination of features and elegance

by kyuushu , Sep 29 '05
Pros: Elegant, high capacity, sounds good (if not great), slideshow is nice, easy-to-use interface.
Cons: Included earbuds sound cheap, equalizer settings limited, battery replaceable only by Apple
The 30gb Ipod Photo combines excellent mp3 playback, digital photo storage, and is geared for Apple’s easy-to-use Itunes music service. While other hard disk mp3 players may offer longer battery life, or more included accessories; this Ipod photo has ...

Pros: Easy to use, holds massive amount of music, great sound, and good battery life.
Cons: Price and only 1 color availability (unlike mini).
I recently decided to step into the 21st century and get myself a portable MP3 player. After reading up on most of the popular models available and reading a TON of user reviews I decided to purchase the Apple 30GB iPod Photo...and I'm very glad I did. ...

iPod photo: Concept and Execution

by derek_ween , Mar 08 '05
Pros: Aesthetics, intuitiveness, level of organization, displaying of album art
Cons: i know everybody says this, but it scratches too easily!
By now, everybody has heard of the iPod. It’s the industry-standard, perpetually-hip hard disk-based mp3 jukebox from Apple. They’ve been around for over five years now, but just recently, with the inception of the “cute” iPod mini and the ...

Apple puts love into making their awesome products

by glustaefar , Aug 03 '05
Pros: Very solid software and interface, with an easily utilized click wheel to maneuver through songs.
Cons: The itunes compatibility can be annoying, and you should buy a cover case for ipod.
This is by far the best mp3 player on the market. I recently got the new 60 gb one and it is just breathtaking. I have all of my songs on it and i still have 20 gb left!!! They said it lacks of...such as no recorder, no radio. I am certainly not trying ...

Call me a fault-finder, but...

by furrismurda , Jul 11 '05
Pros: Looks good, sounds good (with real earphones), good interface
Cons: battery life has been 60% of advertised, bad earbuds, scratches easily
For a $350 MP3 player, I expect something better constructed. While it sounds great (with real earphones) and has an excellent interface, there are a number of glitches, bugs, and shoddy materials that seriously detract. 1. Considering that the ...

A Good Choice for Portable Music

by karma95 , May 09 '07
Pros: easy to use for music, light, simple controls
Cons: easy to damage, video isn't easy
A few years ago I purchased my first Apple mp3 player: the Mini. I purchased the one that could hold about 1,000 songs since I figured my CD collection couldn't possibly have more songs than that. I was wrong. As a result, I constantly had to ...

Nice product, when it works...

by pickyeugene , Jul 29 '05
Pros: Good sound, Easy to use, Photos look great, nice to touch, looks great.
Cons: 1 week lifespan. long syncing. scratches easily. Seemed a little heavy.
First off, I'm a technical guy. I know how to fix pcs and how not to break gadgets with a little TLC and common sense. I'm not plugging the ipods into toasters, for instance. (do no try at home!) I received the 30g Photo Ipod as a birthday gift, ...

by barnacules , Sep 03 '05
Pros: Interface, Sound Quality, Screen, Storage, Volume
Cons: Price, Build Quality (not as good as iPod mini)
I used to have an 4gb iPod mini and I thought it was the greatest MP3 player of all time. The sound quality was awesome, the units construction was very durable, and the interface was unreal. However the 4 gigabytes of space was not enough for my entire ...
