Pros: Touch screen, internet, wide screen display, easy to carry. Cons: screen can get messy due to finger prints, but screen cleaner can clean it up.
The Ipod Touch is supremely the best mp3 player in the market right now. It's innovative and sleek touch screen design brings a whole new meaning to music players. This device is so much more than any original MP3. It offers "apps" that come in ...

Pros: Neat multi touch functions, great web browser. Cons: Slow boot time, no way to control playback when device is in pocket.
The iPod Touch markets itself as an iPhone minus the phone. Is it? I purchased the 16GB model and immediately fell in love with it. Set up was quick and painless. iTunes was very intuitive, especially for a first time user like myself. Adding my music to ...

Pros: Awesome interface.Great screen.Fantastic sound.Huge memory. Cons: No data file management. Hardware locked off in the OS. More about money than usefulness.
I just got the thing last week so I'm still learning. But Apple products pride themselves on having no learning curve. This product is one of the worst Apple products I've ever purchased (I own 3 Macs and this is my third iPod). I'm ...

For those who may be interested in acquiring an Apple iPod Touch as a replacement for a PDA, I have found it to be quite useful. The primary function used in this regard is syncing with Microsoft Outlook, which works flawlessly. Now I can check ...

by miller23 ,Sep 05 '09

There are several benefits from having the ipod touch 2nd generation especially for teens. One of those benefits is it provides great wireless Internet in certain places, so if you don't have Internet at home then you can use the wi-fi of the ipod touch.

Happy to have found this product
by etcs1990 ,Apr 12 '09
Pros: ease of use, the touch panel is very useful. Cons: Price. apple has to lower the price of there goods.
I just returned from Iraq. My girlfriend had been using this device for about 9 months ( she received this when I boight her a MacBook Pro). I have used the device everyday since. it is very usful to hook to the net. I live in Hampton Roads and it works wonderfully. I can hit the net and compare prices or look up directions. I can say Apple did a good job.
I will say the 200 word mim is BS. Why talk about a product longer then need be? I use Honda's use of questions. Did you like the product? and would you buy it again? yes is the answer to both. Who cares why, it is not important.

Very very nice
by vturesource ,Jul 16 '08
Pros: Design, functions Cons: Price, size
This looks incredible. The touch screen is definitely the wave of the future. Very responsive screen. Maybe it's just me but it seems to able to distinguish accidental from purposeful touches fairly well. Lots of options and functions but I wish the made it slightly more compact. The wifi is cumbersome and is not really intuitive but no real complaints.

Terrible product for users on the go
by filmingdavid ,Dec 15 '07
Pros: Safari browser. Wi-fi capabilities. Video capabilities. Cons: Cannot operate without looking at it. Touch feature fails. You may get robbed.
Sure it's an ipod. Yes it has a flashy screen. But I thought the point of the ipod was to be a portable listening device. What good is a device if you can't operate it without pulling it out of your pocket, stopping to fiddle with the various buttons and tap the damn screen FOUR times until it registers your request.
Let's go with a hypothetical here...
It's January. It's 15 degrees out. Your ipod touch is in your pocket. You hear a jamming track and would really like to turn up the volume - which is impossible to do without physically looking at the ipod. Same goes for skipping tracks.
You then have to A.) Stop. B.) take off your gloves to grab the ipod touch which is buried in your pocket C.) unlock it D.) click on the track for volume controls E.) lower the volume.
Conclusion: Not efficient. Too many steps needed to do simple tasks. Not an effective mobile listening device.

Not bad for an iPhone with no phone
by xsonsauce ,Sep 20 '07
Pros: Bigger screen, flash memory, wi-fi browsing, sleek look, etc Cons: Expensive, no click wheel, no keyboard for internet browsing, etc
I sampled the new iPod touch over the last weekend. This isn't quite the revolution Steve Jobs might think it is, but it is fairly impressive, particularly in terms of wi-fi functionality. For those of you who have held off on the iPhone due to price, this is your chance to enjoy flash memory, tiny screen browsing, and the lack of a tangible keyboard (still impossible to get accustomed to). Really, though, I speak of it pejoratively because in my copywriting hell I can only afford one of these things if it's gifted to me by a rich distant relative who doesn't like the color or I win one playing Limbo.com's grab game. It's a cool machine, but I don't like how ipod are increasingly becoming more video-driven rather than music-driven. Having the larger screen is a plus, but the absence of a click-wheel makes me wonder if Apple shot its wad five years ago on these puppies.

More than just an iphone without phone
by nilssc413 ,Apr 23 '08
Pros: slim, good design, innovative, many useful features, mp3-player of the future Cons: no phone, expensive compared to what is on the market
The new Ipod touch, the thinnest ipod ever and features so far not able to get on your mp3-player. This new Ipod is the best one so far (except the iphone, which is basically the same).
Built on touch screen technology it is easy to use and fast to understand for everybody from 10+ years. It's touch sxcreen is precise and enables new features like zooming in on web pages you want to read or e-mails written in a small font.
An other good tool is the internet connection which enables a bunch of new games and things you can download.
It is the best creation of apple so far.

Perfect
by janetlong ,Oct 19 '08
Pros: Clear, thin, small, wide, videos, safari surfing, fantastic graphics Cons: No games Bad headphones
I'm the kind of person who needs music all the time. When I write papers, when 'm in the shower, when I'm driving or working out. This iPod has everything you need in a media player. It's wide enough to read clearly, thin enough to fit anywhere, and clear enough to see even when the sun is shining. I am so happy with this.
