Pros: Effective, easy to use, fun to watch, cheaper than hiring a pool guy. Cons: Tries to eat its own power cord: IMO needs some supervision.
Summary: Last summer, I bought a cabin to rent out, complete with vinyl, in-ground 19 X 37 pool (yes, that is not a standard size. That's a whole 'nother headache). I learned that pool maintenance can get tricky if you don't live on the same property. After wre ... read more

Pros: most of the time you can leave it and it will clean.. Cons: nasty to clean the bag... occasionally worse than a diaper
Summary: Bought one for $1200 July 25, 06...thought I was purchsing a good product and given the price I thought it might travel into my house and clean the floors too...I love that I can throw it in and it does the cleaning--when it actually works...which ... read more

Pros: we will see Cons: tips over easy documentation poor service people somewhat 'jerky'
Summary: Just bought an ecojet pro. The instruction manual that comes with it is apparently a generic one that fits many models. So you will see stuff in it that you think you are supposed to do, but can't. I didn't find that out until I had to call, after ... read more

Pros: When it works, it works great Cons: Poor quality and customer service
Summary: I bought the Aquabot T2 turbo after seeing all the great reviews on it. I bought it for $1450 and was told by the establishment I bought it from that they cover all labor for first 2 years. Found out that wasn't true. From day one I put it in the pool ... read more

Pros: Low power consumption. Generally gets the job done (eventually). Cons: Hangs up on the pool steps or any other obstacle, unable to free itself.
Summary: I purchased my Aquabot Turbo in late spring 2001 with the fond hope that this thousand dollar toy would relieve me of the burden of vacuuming my in-ground gunite pool, but unfortunately it has proven to be no more than a marginally useful (and ... read more

Pros: None. Takes 12 hours to do what a polaris can do in 2 Cons: Erratic cleaning. Roller reverse mechanism doesn't work Cleaner hangs up on poolside.
Summary: What Ive said above in the title says it all. The company doesn't stand behind its product, just as tusk10 said in his review. What that means is that the company does not have a satisfaction guaranteed policy or your money will be cheerfully refunded ... read more

Pros: Does an awesome job cleaning my 20 x 40 in ground vinyl pool. Cons: Documentation stinks.
Summary: I believe this is an awesome product. It seems well designed, and lots of details are well thought out. The large filter bag is easy to remove, clean, and install. It is gross to clean the filter, but that is no fault of the cleaner. It does a good ... read more

Pros: Saved time and energy while it worked Cons: Expensive. Short life. Can hang on stairs. Doesn't clean stairs. Emptying and Cleaning the bag.
Summary: I owned one of these. At first it did a reasonable job. Not quite as advertised, but it did save time. We had to spot clean manually and often had to clean at the water line. Often hung on the pool ladder and did not really clean the stairs. Often ... read more

Pros: Easy to use and does a much better job than previous vacumming. Cons: Expensive! Poor printed instructions (but included DVD is superb!)
Summary: I recently purchased the Aquabot T4 with remote control for $1799 online. They included the caddy as well as an extra bag at that price as well as free shipping. Expensive but the best deal I could find from an authorized dealer. Aquabot claims that some ... read more

Pros: Does everything for me, including saving me a fortune! Cons: It doesn't make me breakfast. Maybe their next generation aquabots will.
Summary: I can't believe I didn't hear of the aquabot before. My pool came with a Polaris, which was OK, but cost well over a hundred bucks every year in replacement parts. The aquabot company's numbers are off though. They claim something like savings of 30% ... read more

Pros: Cleans very well, especially at the water line Cons: Initial cost, maintenance cost, cleaning the filter bag, reliability
Summary: My pool is 20x40 and I did not relish the idea of vacuuming the pool by hand. When I was looking for a robotic cleaner there many different models to choose from, some with booster pumps, others you connect directly to the suction side. I picked the ... read more

Pros: Cleans well and works well (under supervision). Does walls and floor. Cons: Cord wraps around. I can't remember a more negative service experience.
Summary: This is my 2nd aquabot. It is almost great b/c when it works it cleans well and filters the water well. But the cord arrives fully kinked and every best intention to straighten it out fails. This contributes to its cannibalizing its own cord which ... read more

Pros: Takes the hassle out of pool care, high quality, rugged Cons: Fairly expensive replacement parts, Has problems climbing walls consistently
Summary: My review is more of a long term "road test" so to speak. I purchased my Aquabot Turbo locally for $975 in 2002, and other then a few replacement parts and an intermittent climbing problem it has been functioning well since then. A little background ... read more

No need to monitor it.
Very Effective. Cons: Expensive (but a great value)
Summary: This is the best thing I have ever purchased, not just the best pool product, the best thing period! I have had mine for 4 years and never had any trouble, or repair. I toss mine in and let it work overnight. Next day - perfectly clean pool. Other ... read more

Pros: Fast, easy, clean and cheap when you buy it from waterworksmarketing.com Cons: non-waterproof transformer, cord may be short for big pools
Summary: I bought an Aquabot Turbo about a month ago and am very happy with it. It's very easy to use, just drop it in and let it clean for a few hours every week. It picks up sand, leaves, and hair easily. I like that it climbs the walls and cleans the water ... read more

Pros: Climbs, scrubs, filters and I think can even leap tall buildings in a single bound. Cons: It doesn't do laundry.
Summary: Aquabot really can do all that and then some! This is the Roomba Pro Elite of the deep. I love the gadgets, but have learned that marketing can be a lot of hype - not so with my Aquabot! It really does climb 90-degrees, scrub the walls and waterline ... read more
