Pros: Stylish facade, Utilitarian rack design, quiet performance Cons: Broke down after 6 months. There was no service in the US.
We were really excited when we first started using the LL65. For once we could walk out of the kitchen and leave the sound of the dishwasher behind. With our upcoming baby, having the quietest machine was a major selling point. The dish rack ...

Pros: Water-softener, low-water use, clean dishes. Cons: Sensitive circuit board, lack of parts in the U.S.
We have well water that is still hard after treatment, so the internal water-softener was a plus. There is a noticeable difference in the dishes when the system has salt. The problem has been that the computer chip inside the unit does not last. The ...

Not impressed
by cakawi ,Jan 12 '07
Pros: looks nice on the outside Cons: Doesn't dry the dishes without jet dry
Difficult to load
Dishes are only moderately clean
We replaced a 40 year old Kitchenaid that I think worked better. The Ariston is difficult to load (the dishes fall over on each other), doesn't get the dishes dry (and the only way to improve that is to use jet dry or some other rinse aid), and we are having to replace the control panel after less than two months of use. We also bought this from ApplianceSmart for what seemed like a great deal, but in reality it has been a huge headache.

Avoid this one--not a deal
by tdj127 ,Jul 28 '07
Pros: Very quiet. Energy efficient. Cons: Doesn't clean well.
We bought this dishwasher at ApplianceSmart. It was a real mistake. It doesn't clean well. The control panel broke within a month. It is hard to load and the dishes topple over (we've broken several glasses). It seems to have been designed to hold only wine glasses and plates. Bowls and large water glasses are a challenge. The manual is so poorly translated as to be incomprehensible and service is non-existent. Additionally, if you aren't meticulous about scraping dishes and cleaning the filter, the machine clogs up and and fails to complete the cycle.

Great Value
by bfox92 ,May 01 '06
Pros: Great value too many words too cover all pros. WE LOVE IT! Cons: A bit small for larger pots and pans. WE STILL LOVE IT!
We bought this unit from Appliance Smart for half the price advertised not knowing how well it would perform. Well after the first week we realized how great of a value this dishwasher is. Bottom line the Ariston LL65 is easy to use while it cleans dishes spotless. Nice design looks great in our kitchen (stainless) and is extremely quiet when running while using very little water. This company will grow in popularity in the US. Being largely unknown in the US market you may find a deal like we did and we highly recommend this to anyone who is tired of their dishwasher underperforming.

ariston ll65 dishwasher
by clarepatrice ,Apr 26 '08
Pros: cleans bottom rack of dishes Cons: poor rack design, have to clean filter after each wash
I have had this machine for 6 months. The last 2 months the dishes and glasses in the upper rack have not been thoroughly cleaned and require re-cleaning. It is also a pain to clean filter after each wash. I read booklet and your instructed to also clean spray arms once a month! I am 51 and have never had a dishwasher that required all this frequent maintenance. After cleaning filter and spray arms anything in the upper rack still has sediment on it or is foggy. The worse problem is that the upper rack is VERY poorly designed. All my glasses fall into each other. Also the utensil basket has no proper place and again the lower rack has no upward pegs to keep dishes from sliding into each other-but isn't as bad as upper racks...

Ariston LL65S Very Nice
by capsu78 ,Dec 01 '05
Pros: Stainless steel interior and very nice Euro design. Quiet and very water conserving Cons: Did not find any. Ariston is the largest European manufacturer Americans have never heard of.
Replacing my "noisy" dishwasher with this unit. Loved the packaging from the Italian manufacturer. Installation uneventful.
Very quiet, lots of settings, but very straight forward to use. Only unit I found that uses an On/Off switch.
The racks are very nicely coated and offer a ton of positions. On board water softener is real nice too, since we are on a well. The dishes come out spotless.

LOVE IT!
by bethanypaul ,Jul 23 '06
Pros: It has a built in water software and is amazingly quiet! Cons: The shelves are flat, doing a load of plates/glasses isn't always easy to organize.
We purchased this machine 2 weeks ago from ApplianceSmart at less than a quarter of the lowest price listed here.
We've owned 2 Kenmore dishwashers in other homes and were happy with them. To our surprise we actually LOVE our dishwasher now and actually fight over filling and emptying it.
Has lots of room for bigger items and adjustable shelves are wonderful!

Don't buy this one
by btvs ,Sep 16 '09
Pros: Its very pretty. It is quiet running while it is not cleaning your dishes. Cons: It doesn't clean rinsed dishes if there is even one little tiny spot left.
Why have a dishwasher at all if you have to clean the dishes before you load them. I've never had a dishwasher that doesn't clean except this one. Way too fussy. If you want to open it after you have started the cycle, it will only restart the whole cycle again and you don't get to change the cycle settings until it has run the whole cycle through. Very bad loading design, very bad operating options. Does not clean except if the dishes are already spotless. Avoid this no matter what the cost savings.
