I shampoo with my regular shampoo for my hair type (oily) first then
with the ARTec orange-marigold shampoo.  Only once or twice a week.

This makes my white hairs a pale strawberry-blond and makes my
red hair shiny and a little bit redder, so it all looks natural.
If I stop using it, then over the next 2 weeks my hair goes back to its
regular (tired red with white at the temples) color, no roots, totally subtle.

I have hard water, but my hair gets no other treatment, except maybe
trying a little lemon highlighting at the beach once per summer.
