Pros: Excellent carving and all around ski Cons: 9:18 blue are not womens skis- C9:18 W is the ski I am reviewing
and you don't want to get complicated, but have a few bucks to spend, get yourself a pair of Atomic C 9.18W Alpine skis with the Device 311 bindings and a pair of C:9 boots. At The Gate: I was headed for a bone breaking disaster. After 6 years on ...
Pros: Great grip on ice, carving ability, value, lightweight. Cons: Small waist not suited for deeper conditions.
The Atomic Carve series has been a serious contender since they released it in the mid to late 1990s. The 9.18's are almost universally recommended as THE ski (if you ski on the East Coast - waist is a bit thin for the West and they ARE carving skis) to ...
Pros: Makes anyone feel like a hero Cons: Not for experts...

I have 3 pairs of skis in my garage and these ski's were my pride and joy. When I purchased them with bindings they ran a total of about a 1000 bucks, with the sale the shop had going I was down to 550 all in plus some vouchers I had been given by a...
After a ten year absence from the slopes due to injury this was the first year back and I started it with Atomic Beta Carve 9.18's. Actually I had rented a couple of times and realized that knees were gonna hold up so I started looking for my own pair. ...
Pros: Very fast, stable, tenacious grip on ice Cons: A bit heavy, not very well suited for quick turns
I've had the 918's (180 cm)for about 15 months now and overall I am really enjoying them. They are very quick and they carve great sweeping turns. They are stable at speed, grip ice well, and will blow through crud. They are on the heavy side, and if...
Pros: Great ski..dont have to work them so hard...and a lot of fun..worth every penny...:) Cons: price...but heh..im going to have these for a few years.
Just bouught a pair this season.Im a 40 something male who has skied for years.I was looking for a ski that i wouldn,t have to work as hard as my old head gs 205,s hehehe....
have to admit i loved those skis...But found myself standing in line for the gondola in tremblant.Looked around and boy did i stand out from the crowd.Nobodys skis were above therehead...except mine lol.Time for an upgrade, did my research and settled on these.Have to admit i was a little reluctant haveing never tried a pair. But i tell u these skies are great good flex turn great ,hold an unbelievable edge and give u a great kick in the butt going into your next turn.iI find if i lean back a bit they fly and throw u into the next turn.Very important to get the right length...im 5-10 170lbs. and ski on 170s.
Pros: Fast turns, good edge grip (even unsharpened), good carving, forgiving.
Cons: Atomic bindings. I have Look p12s. They are much safer.
I spend most of my time skiing moguls in the East. (I've competed in freestyle and won a couple of competitions) I have tested and researched all other slalom skis and have found that these are the best for quick turns with tons of edge grip. A good edge tends to be hard to find on a fast ski but you get it with this. This ski is also good all around so if you want to do some cruzing this is a good carving ski. I have tried the higher level slalom ski by Atomic and have found that it is almost the same except it is less forgiving. As well as a great ski on every day you will also be glad you are on these skis on those days when you are tired at the end or have been out all night before. If you are looking for a good ski this is it. Also the Dynastar carve 9 and 10 are close but this seems to be a little bit better.
