Pros: Beautiful, great-sounding alternative to Bose, for about one third the price. Cons: Earcups a bit on the snug side; external sound leakage.
HOW/WHY I FOUND THE AUDIO-TECHNICA ATH-ANC7: Once upon a time, my wife bought me a set of Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones as a Christmas gift. They were, without a doubt, the finest headphones I've ever owned. They weren't made of the strongest ...
Pros: Better noise canceling, more comfort, better sound, better built, better price. Cons: Less bass then Bose but better highs.
I was looking for a good quality pair of headphones with the noise canceling feature. Of course I started with the Bose QuietComfort. They got the job done but the price was more then I wanted to spend. With some research I found the Audio-Technica ...
Pros: Good noise cancel, great sound, great price Cons: none i can think of
This is the 2nd pair of noise-cancelling headphones. I have also have a pair of JVC Noise cancels prior to this one. They were cheap... about 40 bucks and had good sound but some weird clicking took over on the left side so i decided to get a better ...
Pros: great passive and active NR, decent price, regular AAA battery Cons: others in class just a bit cheaper, not great bass sound, hot ears
General Info As the fourth of four noise-canceling headphones I tested, I'll start right out by saying that these are at the top of my list. My first set was a ...
Pros: Comfortable, good sound quality, effective noise cancelling, good value. Cons: May not be large enough for big heads. Fussy cable a pain in the butt.
I found these headphones to be an excellent value with good sound quality, decent noise suppression, comfortable ergonomics, and a friendly price. They make a nice seal on your head when you wear them, but they remain comfortable. Sound quality ...
Pros: It's 95% as good as Bose at 1/3 the price (if you shop for them). Cons: Price is going up, and getting close to refurbished Bose QC2 price.
I've owned several noise cancelling headsets. Many were returned becuase they did not do their job. I currently own 3 headsets. The first noise cancelling headphones I bought from sharper image, Bose QC2, and now Audio-Technica. I haven't had a ...

Pros: Good price, quality product, great sound Cons: Full-sized headset, something to get used to.
Everyone is comparing this to Bose, well I tried on the Bose headset while at the department store and I thought they sounded great as well but never tried them side by side. But what is hilarious is when you compare these to those cheapo ear buds that came with your MP3 Player!
Most of the reviews here are pretty much right on so not going to add to them and will keep this review short. These are Full around your ear headsets so if you are expecting something small and light these are not them. If you want quiet and a good sound then go for it!
UPDATE: My wife and I went to a the Martinsville for the Nascar race. This track is known to be extremely loud. The headphones were nothing short of outstanding. When the cars were going by they were only a mild hum with the headphones on. With them off the noise was unbearable. The difference between ear plugs and these headphones with canceling on was huge!
At work I was sitting at my desk reading and was interrupted by a coworker tapping me on my shoulder to let me know my phone was ringing!!! These headphones are awesome!
