Pros: Beautiful, great-sounding alternative to Bose, for about one third the price. Cons: Earcups a bit on the snug side; external sound leakage.
Summary: HOW/WHY I FOUND THE AUDIO-TECHNICA ATH-ANC7: Once upon a time, my wife bought me a set of Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones as a Christmas gift. They were, without a doubt, the finest headphones I've ever owned. They weren't made of the strongest ... read more

Pros: Way less costly than Bose; good sound and noise cancelling. Cons: Unwearable for a long flight; they hurt my ears and the headband was uncomfortable.
Summary: I decided to buy these headphones after trying them out in a store with my iPhone. I don't claim to be an audiophile, but I liked the way they sounded, and the noise-cancelling function seemed to work very well. I also liked the price I found ... read more

Pros: Comfortable, good sound quality, effective noise cancelling, good value. Cons: May not be large enough for big heads. Fussy cable a pain in the butt.
Summary: I found these headphones to be an excellent value with good sound quality, decent noise suppression, comfortable ergonomics, and a friendly price. They make a nice seal on your head when you wear them, but they remain comfortable. Sound quality ... read more

Pros: Better noise canceling, more comfort, better sound, better built, better price. Cons: Less bass then Bose but better highs.
Summary: I was looking for a good quality pair of headphones with the noise canceling feature. Of course I started with the Bose QuietComfort. They got the job done but the price was more then I wanted to spend. With some research I found the Audio-Technica ... read more

Pros: It's 95% as good as Bose at 1/3 the price (if you shop for them). Cons: Price is going up, and getting close to refurbished Bose QC2 price.
Summary: I've owned several noise cancelling headsets. Many were returned becuase they did not do their job. I currently own 3 headsets. The first noise cancelling headphones I bought from sharper image, Bose QC2, and now Audio-Technica. I haven't had a ... read more

Pros: Good price, quality product, great sound Cons: Full-sized headset, something to get used to.
Summary: Everyone is comparing this to Bose, well I tried on the Bose headset while at the department store and I thought they sounded great as well but never tried them side by side. But what is hilarious is when you compare these to those cheapo ear
