I have tried a lot of lipsticks over the years and not one has even come close to Aveda's lipstick. It has a great texture. Its not greasy, does not stain or change to a bright pink. It has a great aroma and has a slight tingly feeling when put on. It goes on very nice and stays on. They also have a nice selection of colours. It is higher priced but you get what you pay for. It always bugs me when people complain about the price. People want the best but don't want to pay for it. You want to pay cheap, you get cheap.

On another note, the packaging has changed for the worse. About 12 years ago, the tube was much nicer. It was gold with Aveda's emblem stamped in on the top of the tube's cover. But whats important for me is what's inside.

This lipstick is quality. It always lasts a long time with me and I will never buy another brand.
