Pros: Works about average in terms of detangling and conditioning Cons: More expensive and did not meet my specific needs after all
Aveda Shampure Conditioner was a suggested purchase, and though I am glad that I have tried it, I am not going to be buying it again. Through no fault of its own, Aveda Shampure Conditioner just was not what I needed after all. Though...
Pros: Smells fantastic, cleanses well, not too expensive. Cons: Left hair feeling unconditioned, bottle is hard.
When I bought Aveda's Shampure earlier this year I was expecting to really like it. I have used several other Aveda products and had great results and love their scents but this one doesn't really rock my world like I thought it would and I would not ...
After reading several glowing opinions about the wonders of Aveda, I took my credit card on a bit of a spending spree to ‘Lookfantastic.com’! Like I need an excuse to spend??!! My hair promises the ultimate challenge for most shampoos – its long and...
Pros: Smells great, decent sized bottle, handy pump dispenser Cons: Doesn't condition that well, expensive, not suitable for dry hair
Apology: I know you are all sick to the back teeth of reading shampoo ops and I apologise immensely for the boredom created by my last opinion….but, I couldn’t write an opinion about Aveda Shampure shampoo without following it up with the complementary...
Pros: good for light to medium conditioning, pleasant fragrance Cons: it'll break the bank.
If you've read my epinion of Shampure, you're already aware that I *love* Shampure (the shampoo, that is). So when Aveda launched a new conditioner to be used in conjunction with the shampoo, I was really excited. I figured that seeing as the shampoo...
Pros: Smells great, doesn't dull color-treated hair, no build up, natural, cruelty free, affordable & unisex. Cons: Cost might seem a little high, but you only need little and it LASTS.
For several years our bathroom was full of stuff. My beauty stuff in addition to my husband's "guy stuff". My fruity shampoos and shave creams right next to his manly ones. Several months ago we went on a quest to find products that we could both use ...
Pros: mild shampoo with mesmerizing fragrance Cons: listen to Andrew! Aveda sold out!
For as long as Aveda has been Aveda my mother has either been shampooing with Shampure or coveting that basic Aveda shampoo. Funny thing is, well, not really, she is my mom, but the number one best thing she has to say about Shampure and why she...
Pros: Smells great, leaves hair shiny and feeling likes silk... Cons: Do you want to take out a second mortgage?
There are some products surrounded by celebrity hype - and Aveda's Shampure is one of them. Kylie uses it, Posh Spice uses it...seems that anyone who's anyone washes their hair with Shampure. And now to untangle the truth from the myths...
Pros: Delicious scent, adds volume and shine Cons: Too drying for everyday use
I purchased Aveda Shampure shampoo and conditioner after going to an Aveda salon for the first time. My stylist there (who I should probably note was fairly new to Aveda) absolutely insisted that out of the several different Aveda shampoo formulas, ...
Pros: Smells Amazing... like perfume for you tresses Cons: Seems a waste to spend so much on something that gets washed down the drain
My stylist first turnmed me on to Shampure for my color treated and relaxed hair. I had previously been using the Brilliant with the blue cap), but found that the shampoo and conditioner weighed my hair down in the summer humidity. I am usually a fan ...
Pros: Smells great, adds body and shine without build-up. Cons: A bit on the spendy side, but you only use a little.
Since Estee Lauder bought Aveda, their products seem to work better than before, while keeping the original integrity of the product. This shampoo is not drying to my dryish, fine hair. Doesn't add excess gunk or weight either. Aveda prides itself on being a nature based product and this doesn't disappoint. The smell is natural, and organic, sort of like fresh flowers, but not fakey. The formula contains a host of ingredients from the good Earth and this is just a simple, daily, no frills product that delivers what it promises without delivering a lot of extraneous fillers and polymers. I was immediately taken with how shiney this made my hair and how much it seemed to add body and thicken it. The original Shampure dried my hair out, so either the formula has improved in its conditioning powers or my hair is just better than twelve years ago, not! Must be the Aveda. Great stuff!
Pros: It smells good, leaves my hair clean and light feeling. Cons: Probably could not or should not be used every day by sensitive hair.
I use this shampoo to offset my other aveda shampoo (color conserve). It works great, for what I need it for. I have to wash my hair pretty much every day. For me personally, I don't think I could use this shampoo everyday unless my hair was extra oily or was exposed to sweat and stuff. My hair is fine and curly, so it doesn't take abuse well. But it does the trick.
Aveda shampoos (Naturally healthful) by ccuseeme ,Nov 15 '06
Pros: Aveda is made from natural and beneficial plant extracts. Cons: Aveda products are expensive and mostly only available through your salon.
I have been a devoted user of Aveda products for over ten years. I have never regretted my decision. The makers of Aveda shampoos put only the finest and natural ingredients in their products. These exceptional shampoos come in a vast array for the consumers enjoyment. My personal favorites can fall into three categories, shampoos for colored hair, damaged and dry hair and normal hair. The shampoos that are available for color tinted hair are: Black Malva for brunettes, Madder root for red heads and Chamomile for blonds. The shampoo I have found to be most effective for dry and damaged hair is their Sap Moss shampoo. Finally, for normal hair I am torn between the Blue Malva and the Aveda Shampure. The Shampure is a delightful product which thoroughly cleans with a delightful fragrance.
