Pros: Service, Food, Spa Cons: No direct ocean beach area, man made lagoons
My trip to Aventura Spa Palace in June of this year marked my second trip to this oasis on the Myan Riviera in Mexico. It's located about an hour south of Cancun. Once again we were greeted in the lobby with Champagne and cool moist towels as it was 95 ...
Pros: Staff--Always an Hola and a smile. Use of other Palace Resorts included. Cons: Time Share pitch (although worth it in the end), Food.
We researched to death this 50th Birthday trip for my Husband. We heard good and bad about many different resorts in the Riviera Maya, which is where we wanted to be, and finally decided on the Aventura Spa Palace [ASP] (May 12-19, 2007). We booked ...
Although I had a great time overall and most of the staff were wonderful, the severity of rudeness from a few staff members and the refusal to let me to speak to a manager justifies the lowest rating for service. After doing some off-resort traveling ...
Pros: Beautiful, elegant, great spa, fantastic food and drinks, awesome service, tons to do!!!! Cons: No real beach, man made lagoon. (However shark-free) Lots of walking, hard on seniors
If you are looking for a true vacation where you are pampered, spoiled and treated like royalty, look no further, this is the place to go! After staying in many resorts, I set my expectations pretty high. I was feeling tired when I arrived at the spa ...

Pros: Great Value, good food/drinks, nice room, above average golf experience Cons: Could have better food options during non-peak times.
We visited here Christmas 2006 and will go back this year. We love Cancun for their all-inclusives. Overall Aventura was a very nice resort. Everything is slightly above average, not much outstanding, but nothing bad/terrible either. Rooms The room ...
Pros: Elegant, clean, plentiful food, great staff. Cons: Some came for the presentation merely to drink the day away and got obnoxious.
My husband and I were warned not to speak to anyone who approached us at the Cancun Airport. We got sucked in anyway and took a cab to Aventura Spa the following morning for breakfast and the 90 minute sales pitch. After a couple of hours, we ended up spending 10 days in a Presidential Suite and had the most wonderful vacation. The staff is fabulous - so friendly and so helpful. the facilities are immaculate, the rooms spacious and very comfortable. AFTER buying our time share, we spoke with several couples who have had memberships ranging from 11 years to 3 years. No one, not one, had regrets. My only sad moment was at check out - when my plastic bracelet was cut off, my eyes actually teared up. Can't wait to go back.
