Beltronics Vector 990 Radar Detector

After having bought myself a Porsche 996 recently, I decided that it would be a good idea to invest in a radar detector to ensure I don't get caught out needlessly. I checked the other reports here at Epinions and then set about talking to suppliers...

Cons: My Bel Radar detector only worked for 3 weeks.

My Bel Radar detector only worked for 3 weeks. Then it would not give any warning of Radar. I would see detectors in cars in front of me that were going off full and mine would not go off at all. I sent this back to BEL and they wanted a lot to fix it...

Pros: Pick up all bands.

Great detector - has worked evertime - even on the mini gatso cameras here in the uk. I also have a target LE 850 laser jammer.

The 5 band is great for the uk as opposed to the 4 ban in the U.S.

They have just released a new 966R...
