  • BF Goodrich Traction T/A H rated True High Performance All Season Radials

    Jan 24, 2006 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Very predictable and stable traction. Great feedback and cornering. Solid year round performance.
Cons: Somewhat bland looks for a performance tire.

Summary: Over the years I have learned a lot about what makes tires work well with cars. We have bought tires for our cars that were recommended by friends only to find out later that those tires did not fit our cars well. Several hundred dollars and some ... read more

  • Very solid tire, at aswome price point

    Mar 18, 2012 by
    Not yet rated.
Pros: Great traction and handeling, excellent value.
    Cons: Slightly worse fuel economy

Summary: I bought two sets for a 2000, and 2005 Ford Focus sedan this Fall and have been pleasantly surprised so far on both vehicles.  Considering the price (about $85 per tire at Costco), it's an excellent deal, especially given the long tread wear rating. ... read more

  • Horrible in Rain

    Nov 11, 2010 by
    Not yet rated.
Pros: Uh... they came with the car so I didn't have to pay for them?
Cons: Horrible wet weather traction, not very durable.

Summary: I bought my car used with these tires. They still had decent tread on them so I can't blame baldness. They are ok on dry pavement. Kinda noisy but not sure how much of that is tire and how much is my car (that also has a reputation for noisiness though ... read more

  • Worst tire I ever had, period.

    Jan 17, 2010 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: Pros? None. It's black, round, fits on a wheel and rolls.  Nothing good to say.
Cons: Like taking roller skates out to the ice arena. Worst tire ever in 40 years.

Summary: No traction in rain, no snow traction, and noisy.  For a "traction" tire, they must have meant it as an oxymoron.  These have NONE.  Driving on anything but dry pavement was an adventure, to say the least.  This  tire should be ... read more

  • Beware of bead design differences!

    Mar 9, 2008 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: When they are right they are the best.
Cons: They claim a short supply and had to send for a special order.

Summary: I am having a problem with a dealer selling these claiming the bead protector is missing? It was supposed to be a new design? I just noticed another vehicle with my same problem. I have a bead offset of at least 1/8 bad from the edge of the rim. ... read more

  • Good Tire for a 2003 Accord

    Jan 4, 2008 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Great cornering and OEM replacement on 03 Accord
Cons: Flat spotting in cold weather (goes away shortly)

Summary: We put these on our 2003 Honda Accord to replace very expensive OEM Michelins (approx $750 at Sams Club). These were approx $350 installed by the local tire center chain. Here is how they compare to the OEM Michelins: -Road noise is about the same. ... read more

  • Firm ride and solid all-weather handling

    Aug 9, 2007 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Firm ride, good all-weather handling, good treadwear so far.
Cons: Ride may be too stiff for some, not a fashion statement.

Summary: I bought 15-inch BF Goodrich Traction T/A H-rated tires for my VW Golf. I've had them for about 15,000 miles or so. Here are the highlights: Ride - firmer than my last set of tires (Goodyear Eagle), but not unpleasantly so. Definitely a more ... read more

Cons: stiff ride, increasing noise with use, some loss in MPG

Summary: I bought these to replace the terrible stock Goodyear Integrity tires that come with my brand new 2003 Toyota Corolla S. The integrities had not integrity and they squalled and spinned even on dry asphalt. But that is a different story. I ... read more

    Cons: None at this time.

Summary: After researching several all-season high-performance tires I finally decided to purchase the BF Goodrich Traction T/A H-rated tires (22560R16). Although as of right now I have put very few miles on them (about 250) I must say that so far I have been ... read more

Cons: No traction in snow, ice, or rain.

Summary: I bought the BF Goodrich Traction T/A H Tire for my ford focus wagon last the fall. They are generally okay on dry pavement, though give too much bounce on uneven pavement or a road in poor condition.  On snow they track horribly!  I ... read more
