Pros: Powerful suction, easy to empty, easy to maneuver, suction tools work! Cons: May not be great for hard surfaces, a bit bulky and loud
Why I Chose It: I chose this vacuum because I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he sheds all year long. Even though we have hardwood floors, cleaning is still an issue because we have to do it everyday or else globs of fur will accumulate under ...
Pros: Sturdy, Great if you have pets, Love the bagless option Cons: Hard to use on steps. Roller Brush does not stop spinning when using attachments.
The Bissell 3920 is a good vacuum for the price. We are very hard on our vacuum cleaners and replace them about once a year. We attempt to purchase a vacuum that does not have the problems of our previous vacuum. This time our previous vacuum had wheels ...
Pros: I'm getting rid of it in two weeks. Cons: It can't be exorcised. The demons are there to stay.
This vacuum sucks. Not in the way a vacuum should suck. Which is to say, it does not suck at all. Like 0 suction whatsoever. I've seen an air compressor with more powerful vacuum action that this thing.I made the ...
Pros: powerful, picked up cat hairs and other dirt you didn't know existed, great value Cons: none that i can think of considering price value
I used this vacuum cleaner for the first yesterday and it was truly impressive. My husband had a hoover for millions of years and it started smelling funky whenever we turned it on so it was time for a new one. My husband has one cat that super sheds a ...
Pros: Works great for pet hair, reasonably priced Cons: Poor on/off switch position, hose can be difficult to reattach
I have two dogs, one of which is a husky, and pet hair is a fact of life for me. The husky sheds huge volumes of very hair year round. A normal vacuum cleaner picks up quite a bit but still leaves a large amount behind. I can go over a spot with a ...
Pros: Superb Suction, easy to push and pull, and easy to empty. Cons: Brush bar does not turn off.
For the value this is the best vacuum out there. I have previously purchased the DC17 Dyson (too expensive for what you get, it was easy to switch to the wand but to me not worth the price difference and it sucks just as well), the Bissell Healthy home ...
Pros: Picks up small microscopic dirt on carpet, has cool attachments, bag less, easy to clean. Cons: Prematurely malfunctioned, left black markings on carpet , doesn't remove animal hair, lost suction quickly.
The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser immediately took off the top layer of our carpet, but I figured it was ok- it was new, cheap apartment carpet. After about 3 months of doing a far job, it lost 50% of suction, and began to leave black marks on our ...
Pros: A great buy! Cons: Worth having despite the few flaws.
I bought my Bissell a few days ago and am quite impressed. The first time I used it, I was pretty shocked with the amount of dirt it pulled out of my carpet. My previous vacuum pulled a lot of fiber strings, but this vacuum seemed like it got a deeper ...
Pros: love it,works well, filters are cheap, light weight and easy to operate. Cons: it will suck up your carpet where it is seamed together.
this is sharp, its suction is fantastic,i thought you had to spend a lot to get a top of the line vacuum.i got this one on sale for like $80.00 at kohls department store and it was bought because four employees there said they had one and loved it.so ...
Pros: Does what it advertises, no bags to purchase or allow to sit around, attachments onboard. Cons: Extension hose is not the advertised 30 feet.
I was using a Kirby G5 for the past 8 years. The bags were expensive and there was nobody in our area to service it. It's suction was limited on pet hair. Since we have 5 animals in the house, 2 children with asthma, and one child who is allergic to ...
Pros: Great suction. Absolutely fantastic on pet hair. Power cord that is really long. Cons: Clumsy up stairs. Bagless can be a real mess. Worthless height adjustment.
I have two long haired cats and thought this would be the ultimate for pet hair removal. For the most part, it lives up to it's name. But I have had the machine apart three times trying to see why the height adjustment doesn't work. It is simply a poor design. Even on it's highest setting in the upright position, (for when you use the hose) if the vacuum is sitting on carpet the roller brush will hit the carpet and it will try to pull itself across the room. It will cause so much friction, the belts stretch and burn. I am on the third belt so far, and realistically have less than 15 hours on the vacuum. We bought it because it was a consumer reports best buy. I would not recommend this machine.
Pros: Like the pet hair brush attachment.
Easy to empty cup.
Not too pricey Cons: Don't like the contour pet attachment. Doesn't seem to do much.
I really love this vacuum. I had a wind tunnel for about 5 years but I hated it. It was a pain to empty the cup, the filter was in it & it was so dirty. I swore I'd never buy another bagless vacuum. After doing extensive research on the internet I took a chance with the Bissell. I'm amazed how much it picks up. I have a lab and a short haired cat that stay in the house all the time. It picks all sorts of fur up & the dirt cup is so easy to empty. I have pet dander allergies which is most of the reason I went with this one & I'm glad I did.
Pros: Easy to empty container. Cons: A little difficult to assemble.
I love this vacuum. I bought the Pet Hair Eraser vacuum to replace my Dyson Animal which wasn't getting the job done. I love the fact it picks up pet hair easily and has powerful suction. It also has a gadget on the front that picks up the pet hair from the carpet to vacuum it up easier (pet hair lifter)! It has a wide cleaning area, and a long power cord. We have a very furry dog that sheds all the time and I vacuum daily. The hose is easy to detach, and it has a great attachment for doing floor-boards. It vacuums floors as well with ease. The canister is very easy to empty. I like the headlight on the front and that fact it will indicate when you need to change the filter. It lays down fairly flat to get under coffee and end tables. I find the dog's hair doesn't get wrapped up in the beater brush as much as with my previous vacuum. I love the attachments that come with this vacuum, especially the contour brush for stairs and upholstery. It picks up the hair everywhere!!! The price was appealing as well!!
