Pros: Convenience, durability, ease-of-use, made in a friendly country Cons: Filters could last longer
Summary: After my zillionth weekly trip to the grocery store to pick up foodstuffs and yet another gallon or two of water, I started to suspect there might be a better way. I stopped off at Wally World one day and picked up this beastie. The price initial price ... read more

Pros: It's easy to install... Cons: For whatever reason, the electronic alert doesn't work.
Summary: I was so excited... chose the more expensive unit with the electronic alert to remind me to change the filter, brought it home, and it was wonderful and reassuring -- for a few weeks. Then the light changed from green to red, and although I ... read more

Pros: Love the clean water, the convenience Cons: none
Summary: I have used the Brita faucet mount for the last 18 years. I started out going with it as I lived in an area under suspicion of cancer causing agents leaking into the ground water. When I moved, I continued with Brita due to the quality of the water, ... read more

Pros: I loved the taste of the filtered water and the first filter lasted four months. Cons: The multiple leaks developed in six months. I will have to replace the whole unit.
Summary: I bought the faucet filter as a replacement for the pitcher and I loved it at first. The water tasted good and the three settings made it great for whatever I wanted to do at the sink. I taught my kids the setting for the Brita water to drink and the ... read more

Pros: It does reduces the smell and provides a better taste. Cons: Filter replacement part is a huge scam... Nothing measures the filter codnition.
Summary: On Brita's web site as well as on the retail package it says *Filter life may vary depedning on local water conditions. Which is a big, fat lie. There is no sensor that can detect the water quality. I had to replace it every 3 to 4 weeks and thought it

Pros: Great filter Cons: Leaks and pops off without thread tape.
Summary: Two words: Thread, tape. I was having the same problem with the filter popping off the faucet, but it stays on perfectly, and doesn't leak when you use thread tape. I've had both types of filters and would pick brita over pur any

Pros: NONE Cons: Customer service terrible and the brita filtration does not fit the newest homes.
Summary: We bought the Brita faucet filter, well the package states if it doesn't fit to call the number on package and they will send you what you need. Well We've called 12 times in 6 months and everytime they say: We will mail it....each time we tell them you

Pros: hmm... Cons: Cheap plastic threads, slow water flow, Made in China
Summary: Unit comes with two adapters, luckily one fit our sink... the problem is they are cheap plastic with TWO plastic threads holding the entire unit onto the sink. It worked for about a day and the entire unit blew off the faucet when we turned the water on.

Pros: Great for people who like getting screwed over after a few months. Cons: Built by a 4 year old in Indonesia.
Summary: I had the Brita faucet filtration system for almost year, and then it just busted one day, without any outside cause. It seems the thread connection to the faucet is still in order, but the connection to the Brita system itself is loose. I cannot pry the

Pros: Clean taste Cons: LEAKS so bad that I can't use it
Summary: Like several other reviewers, my Brita faucet mount filter leaks horribly. I would like to meet the moron who coupled plastic threads and high water pressure. I am severely disappointed in the filter's performance, or lack thereof. Having used the

Pros: Easy install if only it stayed put Cons: After using the filter part a few times, the unit pops off under water pressure
Summary: Since our public water is less than desirable, we bought the mountable Brita water filter in one of regular trips to Bed Bath & Beyond. We thought that an under sink unit would be costly so we tried the said item. The unit was easy to install and we were

Pros: Great tasting drinking water!!!! Cons: Keeping the connection to the faucet leak free.
Summary: While living in Phoenix, AZ., where the water is so hard that I've got to clean the calcium deposits off the faucets every week, this product is fantastic for taking all the unpleasant minerals out of the drinking water and gives me clean tasting,

Pros: Filters well. Cons: Leaks, leaks, leaks, leaks, leaks, etc.
Summary: Filters perfectly, installs easily, but very cheap plastic construction with plastic threads which will leak profusely. If you send the unit back (even after a year) they will replace it. Why not, since as soon as you get it back in service you can

Pros: Easy to use. Water tastes clean. Has three settings while other brands have two. Cons: Plastic threads will wear out, requiring you to buy a brand new filter.
Summary: Our Brita filter worked great for about 6-8 months. My major complaint, though, is the plastic threads that connect to your faucet. These will eventually wear out and will require you to replace your entire faucet filter. After about 6-8 months, the

Pros: Convenient Cons: Poor build quality; poor water flow through filter after short period of use
Summary: My unit failed after only two years of use. It began leaking water from the seams: when I turn on the tap the water now comes out from the joints, the mount the where the filter plugs into the unit, and pretty much everywhere. I expected better build
