Weird, Medicinal Concoction from the World's Largest Brewery, Anheuser- Busch

by Bryan_Carey Bryan_Carey is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Feb 04 '05
Pros: Unusual taste and effects- Are those really pros?
Cons: Lack of real beer taste; Very high price
Beer hunting is a fun and also serious pastime of mine and other beer snobs who are always in search of something new. No, I'm not talking about a violent act that requires a pistol. What I'm referring to is the enjoyable yet critical mission of finding ...

Budweiser on Steroids?

by Bruguru Bruguru is a Lead on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Dec 01 '04
Pros: Better than Bud.
Cons: Not by much.
B-to-the-E (BE). Budweiser to the Extreme. I never thought I would see this day come, but here it is. Budweiser with fruit flavorings. Yet it's true. I promise. B to the E is, according to Anheuser-Busch, beer with something extra, or so the can ...

by mrkstvns Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Dec 22 '04
Pros: Ummm. Ummm. Ummm. I guess none.
Cons: Tastes like waste products from a petrochemical plant. More...
Every now and then, a new product comes out that is so innovative, so useful, so intelligently thought out that a consumer can't help but say, "I must buy that!" What this has to do with Anheuser-Busch's latest gimmick, B to the E, I'm not sure, ...

Bud Extra, A gift from the Y-Gods

by axb8000 , Oct 07 '06
Pros: Mixable, Drinkable, and a good jolt of energy. Superior to all other energy-alcohols.
Cons: Expensive, Hard to find, won't appeal to Beer purists, Difficult to interpret or discuss name
DISCLAIMER: To understand this review it’s important to know the reviewer. I am not a beer aficionado and do not pretend to be one. I am 20something guy that fits comfortably in the demographic that Budweiser is franticly trying to keep ...

Mmmmm Mmmm B to the E!!!
by mcwizzly ,Jan 29 '05
Pros: Easy drinkin, and you don't get stoopid! Oh man this stuff is good. Haha
Cons: No 40oz available
This stuff is great, I could drink it from sunup to sundown! It gets better with every can, I felt like I could stay up all night drinking it, which is pretty incredible at 6.6% I had 5 cans last night and woke up still energized, and with no hangover whatsoever.
This is future of alcoholic beverages. We are witnessing
a moment in history that our grandkids will ask about.
Thank you, beer scientists!
-Buck McWizzly

PS Once you get on a roll with it, it makes you want to keep drinking it all night because you don't get tired or sleepy AT ALL. But your definetly buzzed, e way.

Love Potion #9
by flavorguy ,Jan 14 '05
Pros: Unique, well balanced flavor profile, something different.
Cons: Not for beer purists/traditionalists.
This is not your grandfather's beer. So, if you are a traditional beer drinker, this is probably not the product for you. If you are part of a younger and hipper crowd, this beer may appeal to you. This beer will be sure to please the energy / spirit drinking market segment of today. This beer would also make a great mixer. The beer is fruity, reminiscent of raspberry, and black cherry. It uses only natural flavoring components, not artificial. It is a well balanced brew, not overly fruity; it still has the distinct taste of a great American beer.
