Pros: Awesome attractant, easy assembly, EXTREMELY effective. Cons: Trap doesn't actually kill the beetles, that's a manual process...eww.

Pros: 1-2 cups of beetles off your plants. Cons: Messy, can be expensive, may attract extra beetles.

Pros: Easy to set up, effective if conditions are right. Cons: Failure of the bags, with closing up, drainage problems and high cost. Lost parts.

Pros: Should help my mole and grub problems. Cons: You have to keep watching them and changing bags, but it is worth it.
Summary: I started using Beetle traps this spring because the Japanese beetle completly denuded my Linden tree and turned my scrub Knock-out Roses in spider like leafs and blossoms with nothing left but the rose hip. So far I have disposed of 17 bags full
