Pros: Awesome attractant, easy assembly, EXTREMELY effective.
Cons: Trap doesn't actually kill the beetles, that's a manual process...eww.

Summary: I opened the attractant sitting on my deck and started reading the assembly instructions.  Within about 5-7 minutes, I was inundated with Japanese beetles ALL OVER MY DECK!!  I scrambled to position the bag and attractant on a shepherds hook in ... read more

Cons: Messy, can be expensive, may attract extra beetles.

Pros: Easy to set up, effective if conditions are right.
Cons: Failure of the bags, with closing up, drainage problems and high cost. Lost parts.

Summary: I've been using Spectracide's Japanese Beetle Traps for a couple summers now. Generally they do a good job. It is, however, important to place them so that your prevailing wind blows the lure's scent away from the flora or plants that you are trying to ... read more

Pros: Low cost, ease of use, very effective.
Cons: The support pole is a little flimsy, but still works.

Pros: Should help my mole and grub problems.
Cons: You have to keep watching them and changing bags, but it is worth it.

    Pros: They really work!
Cons: The decomposition of Japanese beetles is beyond description.
