Pros: Lots of goofy, upbeat songs; "Fun and Games" and "Beautiful" are so brilliant it hurts. Cons: Embarassingly unclever songwriting on a few occasions, and this disc is just plain too long.
Summary: One should know better than to compare the Barenaked Ladies to Radiohead. I mean, hello? Two totally different bands. But the comparison seemed apt last year when the witty Canadian group independently released the album ... read more
