I bought my 245 brand spanking new in 2006. By the time I had got it Home it had at least 15 gel coat cracks in it, they were mostly due to the end guy on the production line not pre drilling for screws, It had to go back two more times for the same ...

Pros: Engine runs great
Cons: The entire boat is not worth the money

I purchased a 2005 245 in April of this year. From the first time I took it out I have had something go wrong every weekend. The Boat itself runs great, it is the after market package that is the trouble. With 32 hrs on the boat the following has gone wrong and had to be replace or fixed, Cd Player (Replaced), Remote deck music controller (Replaced),Rub rail molding popped out all by itself (Replaced ) Air Conditioning unit (Replaced ) Wind Sheild support came apart (Replaced, Middle window sagging (Replaced) Engine Cover hinges broke (Replaced). I swore I would never buy a Bayliner and I did. Never will again. The only good part of the boat is the Merc Engine, purrs like a kitten. Never again Bayliner.

Pros: Fully loaded boat, using every inch of space wisely.
Cons: Rubber bumper trim in the track keeps poping out in back near the swim platform.

This boat has EVERYTHING I wanted and need in an affordable boat.5.7L engine w/Brave III is powerful.Looks beautiful, the lines on this boat are eye candy for a boat lover. When I drive this boat, the comments I hear as I pass people, REALLY feed my ego.
