Pros: Reasonable rates, friendly & helpful staff. Cons: No Balconies
Located atop a hill overlooking beautiful Pigeon Forge Tennessee, The Baymont is a wonderful place to stay. They offer a variety of room packages, both smoking and non smoking, wiht prices to fit any budget. Children under 18 stay free, the crib I needed...
Pros: Location, view, most of the staff, cont. breakfast. Cons: No vending/ice on 1st floor
My Mom & I visit Tenn. several times a year.
Our stay at the Laurel Grove was ok. It is an older hotel, but was clean. However our beds were "made" each morning, not changed in 4 days. (Then again, I don't change my sheets at home every day either.) I asked for smoking and got non- smoking. No vending or ice on the first floor, but the second floor isn't that far. :)
The light cont. breakfast was enough to get you going.
The view from the separate deck is beautiful and being situated on a hill, the noise from the busy street was not a bother. We wouldn't discourage anyone from staying here if you just need the basics. It was clean, the staff friendly and it's close to everything.
Trip tip... If you have the time, go see Cades Cove.

Pros:The new owners have made a huge difference in the property. Cons: Could not stay long enough, but will be back as soon as we can.
Formerly the Laurel Grove, it is now called Hotel Pigeon Forge and is under new ownership. We really like how quiet and peaceful the setting of the hotel is. The staff makes you feel very special and right at home. This will be our new home away from home.
