Pros: Pleasantly amusing. Non English speaking support cast meshes with largely silent main char. Nice scenery. Cons: Recycling bits from TV. Doesn't always feel like Mr Bean. Jokes missed or done wrongly.
Small Screen to Big Screen Part Deux When the uniquely TV and video based phenomena known as Mr Bean first burst onto the big screen it was met with a lukewarm reaction. Reviewing Bean: The Movie I found positives and negatives, with ...

Pros: Funny at times. Willem Defoe. Cons: Predictable, Repetitive, Humor far from high brow.
My first exposure to Rowan Atkinson and his Mr. Bean character was back in 1995 when I was teaching scuba in Thailand. The funny thing was that I didnt hear about him from my British expat coworkers but from my Thai coworkers. It seems the Thais ...

Pros: Couple funny scenes, if you find Bean's sheer appearance hilarious, you will love this film Cons: Not enough laughable sequences, much unlike Bean's classic individual skits
Due to my obsession with Mr. Bean, I decided to pay a visit to Atkinson's newest film, Mr. Bean's Holiday. Although there are segments of entertainment delivered in certain scenes, the majority of the flick fails to capture the hilarity ...

Pros: Suitable for all ages, funny for all ages, very light-hearted Cons: Mr. Bean is an acquired taste who won't appeal to everyone

Pros: Mr. Bean is back... Cons: ...in a painfully vapid sequel.
I remembered the first time upon witnessing Mr. Bean, I absolutely lost it in a sketch where he was trying to make a sick boy feel better by blowing up a paper bag. The punchline however, was the fact that the sick boy had vomited into the bag and Mr. ...

Pros: Rowan Atkinson reprises his role as the bumbling Mr. Bean in this solid sequel. Cons: Laughs are sparse, may leave some wanting a little more.
'Mr. Bean's Holiday' is the mildly-awaited sequel to 1997's modest comedic hit, 'Bean', a movie based on the UK television series by the same name and starring the highly gifted comic Rowan Atkinson. 'Holiday' finds Bean winning an all-expense paid ...

Pros: Atkinson has a unique comic style unmatched by most of today's comedians. Cons: "Holiday" chooses to aim more towards the kiddies rather than attempting to please older fans.
While most American moviegoers are busy watching comedies such as the overrated Superbad and the unbearable atrocity, Chuck and Larry, its easy to see why a clever British comedy, appropriately titled Mr. Beans ...

Pros: to know that Mr.bean is fine, Cons: repeating same things from TV series.
When I saw the TV commercial for this movie last year (I think it was September or so, wasn't it?), I really wondered why Mr. Bean was still making movie as Mr.Bean, the last movie was in 1998 or so, and it was just repeating funny parts of TV's ...

by erkcuf ,Sep 07 '07
Pros: Decent entertainment Cons: Not funny at all
I didn't think this movie was as funny as the first one. A few scenes made me smile, but in the end I would not recommend this one for Mr. Bean fans or anyone else for that matter.
