We love our new mattress and goose down cover, and the fact that everything BedinaBox stated on their web site about them is really true. i never would've purchased a mattress online, except i was convinced by bed in a box's seemingly generous return policy to take the risk. after receiving the mattress, i just wasn't happy with it. i didn't find it comfortable to sleep on. i decided to return it, but was given a lot of resistance when i called for my return number. i was asked to explain why i was returning the mattress, and that if the mattress was not defective i shouldn't expect to be able to return it for a refund. the return policy states "simply return the mattress and receive a 100% no-questions-asked refund."  so, why was i being asked to explain why i was returning it??! now i am wondering if, after going through the trouble of packing this thing up and shipping it back, i'll ever actually get my money refunded.

I love this mattress. I was skeptical at first because I have another name brand memory foam mattress that is excellent and I didn't think one I purchased through the mail at such a great price would compare, but it did. This mattress is thick. It came with a cover. My guests who sleep on the mattress love it and my daughter who is in college sleeps in the guest room when she comes home instead of her own room, because this mattress is so comfortable. The foundation was simple to put together. I did it without my husband's help. It was compressed into plastic wrap, but quickly thickened up as soon as it was opened and has held it's shape.

Knowing this bed was made in the US was a comfort to me. The bed is heavy and sturdy. I love sleeping in it and make up reasons to hang out in my room just to sink into it again. I LOVE my new bed. We are LOVING our PacDown 9"!!!!! We've been sleeping on it for about 6 weeks, and every night my husband and I say how glad we are that we ordered from Bed-in-a-Box. This is by far the best bed we've ever slept on. There was NO "bed transition" where we woke up with sore backs--just perfect night's sleep from the start. It's the middle of summer and we haven't had any issues with heat retention that you read about with other foam mattresses.

The price can't be beat. We spent $599 (including shipping!) for our PacDown 9" king. That's $200 less than we spent on our queen spring mattress 7 years ago. We have friends that bought a foam mattress before us and encouraged us to do the same. They did a lot of research, but bought theirs from a store. They spent $2000 for theirs--Yikes!!

I was having a lot of pain in my shoulder when I decided to order a new mattress from BedinaBox. When it arrived in a huge bundle I had a hard time getting it open and had my doubts about it expanding into a queen size bed. But it did, just like they described, and I quickly got used to sleeping soundly for the first time in months without tossing and turning, or waking up in pain. I can't tell you what a relief that was. Now I look forward to crawling into bed and I believe I fall asleep within a couple of minutes of lying down.

We purchased our mattress from BedinaBox.com quite a few months ago and I can't tell you how much we love it. We sleep well and now and so does everyone in the house including the dog. We also purchased a mattress for our son a couple of months after we had ours to make sure that it would live up to the reviews that we read and I don't think any of us will ever go back to a regular mattress or even to a store to look at a mattress. Our mattress was shipped so quickly from BedinaBox that even if a local store would have it at their warehouse I don't know that they could have gotten it to us as quickly as they did. When I go to sleep at night I fall asleep and wake up in the same position. My body just falls into the deepest sleep I have ever had. I am 46 yrs old and feel the best I have ever felt. My neck and back do not hurt anymore. My arms and legs dont fall "asleep" anymore. That mid afternoon sleepy eye moment at work, you know when all you want to do is take a nap, no longer exists. I have more energy during the day than ever before.

My wife is pregnant and was having back and hip pain that lead to trouble sleeping on our old spring mattress. After doing a bunch of research I purchased an 11” Pacbamboo memory foam mattress from BedInABox. My wife’s sleep problems were immediately solved and her back and hip pain was significantly reduced. I never would have thought that our mattress was a contributing factor in her back and hip pain. There was also an added bonus which is that I now sleep far more comfortably as well. In fact, I will never return to a spring mattress. I was a little leery about buying a mattress over the internet but can state unequivocally that BedInABox delivered exactly what they promised – a mattress of outstanding quality and value, and exemplary customer service.
Some advice: The mattress comes compressed in a box and is heavy. Have a second person available help haul it upstairs. Do not take the mattress out of the box until you get it to your bedroom.

When we started looking at mattresses we looked longingly at the "Big Name" memory foam models but ,facing reality, moved back to the cheap house brand traditional types. I have suffered neck and back pain for years. I have had two back surgeries over the past ten years. I was very impressed by their customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, so called them to correct my order, and they were very nice about it, even though they had to unload it off the truck.

Unpacking it was pretty cool, because, as the name implies, it comes in a box. It's vaccuum sealed in a plastic wrapper, so when you puncture that wrapper, it expands enormously. There's a strong chemical smell, but that dissipates in a couple of days.

The mattress itself is extremely comfortable. A friend of mine slept on it when I was out of town, and ordered one the next day. I wish it was slightly firmer, but I didn't really expect that from memory foam, especially with a topper.

My fiance and I have had our mattress for a few weeks now and love it. Unlike other mattresses we have had where only one sleeping position is comfortable, no matter how I sleep (whether on my stomach, side, etc) I sleep well and do not feel stiff in the morning. I recently purchased a custom sized bed for my daughter. My niece has a memory foam bed from Bed in a box and my daughter loved her bed. I was in a wreck almost 10 years ago where I compressed a vertebrate. I have had trouble sleeping ever since this event, so I decided to give the foam mattress a test. We bought the PacDown Plus mattress a month ago for our teenage son and are absolutely sold on the brand. Quick delivery, comfortable and a good price. Next we are purchasing the twin Pac basic for our 9 year-old.

I've been burned at Mattress Discounters where they steered us toward a Sealy Posturepedic that gradually failed to provide support. After six months there was a deep impression around the hips (and I don't weigh much). And by Sears where the mattress (mailorder) felt like it was stuffed with newspaper ( I created a foam top that helped.) I look forward to putting the Sears mattress in the garage and replacing it with the PacBed original.

Our bedroom is upstairs, with a very narrow staircase, the cal-king fit up the stairs no problem in the shrink wrapped, with no damage unlike our previous mattress which was bent in half to fit through the stairway. I have noticed a less disturbed sleep, and no more snoring from the husband. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a foam mattress.

We purchased our new bed in a box mattress for our travel trailer and LOVE IT!!!!! This mattress is well worth the money and it comes right to your door. The return policy was what made me order....hard to purchase a mattress online BUT there is no risk. After one nights sleep you will realize you will never want to send it back. Just as good as our Tempur Pedic and alot less $.

I cannot express how happy I am that I bought a BedinaBox! It is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. I love the down topper that came with it. I was a little worried that the reasonable price would mean an inferior mattress, but it is absolutely wonderful. I had backaches every night on my old mattress, but they have gone away since I've been sleeping on my BedinaBox. My granddaughter and our dog spend time on it every chance they get. I have owned a traditional spring mattress for many years.  I had always owned a high quality/price mattress.  But when it came time to upgrade from a queen to a king I started looking at memory foam mattresses.  I found BedinaBox on line and read all the reviews and spoke to them on 3 occasions.  After looking at every local mattress store I found that they are are very similar except for the price.  I have owned this mattress a little less than a year and will never go back to a spring mattress.  We love it! Was looking to purchase a memory foam mattress. My first purchase was a replacement mattress for our trailer. Ordered a queen pac-down to give it a try. Found it to be soooo comfortable I ordered a king bamboo for the house. My third purchase was a pac down double for the spare room. Love to watch them expand. I have recommended Bed in a Box to friends, family and co-workers.

The PacDown Mattress from Bedinabox has been a dream come true. I have noticed that I sleep through the night better and wake with a much better feeling back. I like a company that has the warranty and refund policy that BedinaBox offers. Before writing this review, I have been recommending to family and friends that they go online and check out BedinaBox.com. I truly feel that I paid 35 to 40% of the cost of a comparable mattress and may have gotten more. All I did was put a board on top of my old box spring and put the new mattress on top. If you don't like it send it back. But, I don't think you will. I'm very happy with BedinaBox.

I spent days searching over the internet looking for the best "Bang for my buck" on a memory foam mattress.  There is a wide price range and quality issues.  This mattress fits the needs and price requirements that I was looking for!  The mattress arrived in a box, of course, and was easy to set up.

This mattress replaced a king pillow top mattress that I had purchased only a couple of years ago from a discount store.  I paid over $1,200.00 for that mattress and it already started to sag in the middle when sleeping on it, but not enough to warrant a replacement mattress.  My back was beginning to suffer from the lack of support.  The PacBamboo mattress is firm and very supportive to my back. 

It also did NOT have the smell that some of the other foam mattresses sold from China reportedly had. I had reservations sleeping on something that I would have to "air out" before using.

I am very much in love with my new mattress and want to tell as many people as possible about my experience. About a year ago I developed some joint type pain and my sleep number mattress didn't allow me to sleep on my side. Every time I did I would wake up after a short amount of time and have to change positions. My constant sleep interruption made for a miserable day. I had heard about memory foam mattresses, but did not want to spend a fortune. Therefore, I "Googled" foam mattresses to do research and found your website. After reading the info and reviews decided to give it a try. I have NO pain on this mattress. No one can believe I bought this bed off the Internet at such at great price and it has worked out so well. My husband is also happy and we plan to purchase one for our RV next year.

My wife and I bought the PacDown RV Queen bed to replace the foam matress in our travel trailer. 

We we're sleeping on a Select Comfort 5000 series air bed at home, and had aching backs...until we vacatoned in the Smokeys and slept on the Bed in a Box matress for seven nights.  Complete comfort!

Retruning home and dreading the return to our SC Air mattress; we formulated a plan to move the RV Queen matress into our bedroom.  Hence we promptly carried in the Memory Foam mattress and moved the SC5000 to the Basement Storage Room.  We ahve been been sleeping on it for the last seven months, never mind it being 6" shorter, it was still much more comfortable the our SC5000.

However, last week we decided not to sleep on the memory foam RV Queen matress in the house.  In about a few days our PacBamboo, plus will arrive.  We now have two (2) Bed in a Box mattresses; one for the house, and one for the road.  That's like moving the family out of a tent, and into an RV.

I like the product, I LOVE where its made, and I truly appreciate the quality and service.

I'm a "Raving Fan"!

I purchased a king size memory foam bed from Bed in a Box with the bamboo mattress pad for our platform bed and I couldnt be happier !!! It is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I suffered for years with expensive mattresses that had to be flipped after my husband and I started drifting towards the center during sleep... uggggg. My quality of sleep is so much better now and when he tosses and turns I dont feel a thing. sighhhhhhh :)

First of all, I was definitely skeptical about ordering a mattress online but we decided to give it a try. Nothing could have been worse than the mattress we had at our beach house! We have a Tempur-Pedic at home and really wanted a memory foam mattress for the beach house but could not justify the expense of another Tempur-Pedic. That is where BedInABox comes in. To get to the point, we got a great deal on the 11-inch mattress with the down cover, received the mattress quickly, set it up one evening and slept on it that night. WE LOVE IT!!! Actually, we prefer it to the Tempur-Pedic! I have referred Bed-in-a-Box to everyone I know who is thinking about buying a new mattress. Keep up the fabulous product and service.

     Like most of you, I am sceptical of web-based companies. Bed-in-a-Box is a pleasant surprise, to be sure. The mattress is extremely comfortable. I no longer have shoulder pain in the mornings. All memory foam sleeps warmer than a traditional mattress does. The foam retains your body heat. However, the PacDown is not overly warm. If you are concerned about sleeping "hot", I would suggest considering the PacBamboo. Either way, you're going to sleep better.

We have had our Bed in a Box for four blissful months now. I am sleeping far better than I was on our old mattress, and in fact sleeping better than I have for many years. It is incredibly comfortable. I am very happy with it, and I recommend it to everyone who is interested in getting a new bed. Also, it had the best return policy of any of the many mattresses I checked into: probably because no one ever wants to return these mattresses!

It goes without saying that I could be wrong, but say most of these reviews have been written by the same person - probably somebody at the company.  They're way too good and use too much of the same language - they even use phrases identical to the website.  Are two different people going to call the inside bag that has to be cut open 'a duffle'?  The one guy had the BASF quote just like the website.  Nobody puts that much time into a review without getting something out of it.  They're good, but they're not written by customers.  I'm still going to buy, but don't think fooled.

I work in heavy construction building industrial power plants. As you can imagine, a good night’s sleep is the key to being rested, alert on the job, and staying safe. With my new memory foam mattress there was no restless nights getting use to the new mattress. While looking for a RV mattress I found a great deal on BedinaBox and enjoyed every minute of dealing with this company. The product is awesome and I intend on buying from them again. This mattress is a little piece of heaven. There is nothing cheap about this mattress except the price. It is very high quality. You just do not find bargains like this every day. I have fibromyalgia and get a much better nights rest than on my previous mattress, which was less that 2 years old (inner spring). I use to wake up in the morning feeling like someone had beaten me during the night. I just placed the mattress right on top of my box springs that I already had and it's been great. I have told my friends and family that when they are ready to purchase a new mattress, they must get a Bed in a Box mattress. I will never, ever have any other kind. Also, their customer service is unbelievable. They want you to be completely happy with your purchase. They have an unbelievable return policy. But, you won't want to return it. You won't want to get out of bed.

I was skeptical about buying a memory foam mattress. I had already gone through a sleep number bed and was reluctant to try another gimmick. But my brother, who had been sleeping on a bed-in-a-box for a year, spoke highly of his mattress. I'm happy to say, it's as advertised. The company provided excellent service and follow up and its product is very comfortable. I'm especially pleased it's not as hard as the brand name memory foam mattress I had tried.

I had some concern about purchasing a bed over the Internet, but the price was too good to pass up. My wife and I have been thrilled with this mattress! It does an awesome job of isolating movement. The only problem I have is that we're spoiled now: every other bed we sleep on seems uncomfortable!

The mattress arrives vac-packed in a box that seems impossibly small to contain a whole mattress. When you unpack it and cut the bag, it "inhales" and starts to swell. It's fun to watch, and our toddler loved playing on it while it grew.

The mattress is very thick, so be sure to take that into account when you pick your bedding. I weigh over 200 pounds, but the foam supports me quite well. I was worried that a foam mattress would form a hole around me, feeling like a hammock, but it's firm without creating any pressure points.

I have now bought TWO of these mattresses, both 9 inch versions with the goose down covers. I have one on a kingsize bed, and one on a queen. They are unbelievable value, and unbelievably great. I had a Tempurpedic mattress while living in London - also a great product, but the Bedinabox mattresses are every bit as good for a fraction of the price. The best night's sleep you will ever have! And you are buying from an American company, and supporting the home economy!

The psychology of so many postive reviews suckered me into buying a queen sized Bedinabox Pac Down mattress.  While skeptical, I still had high hopes that this would be a relatively decent bed.   It is incredibly UNCOMFORTABLE, and basically a cheap product--a hard foam foundation with a piece of "memory foam"  (just like the low grade topper you can find at Target).  There is NO pressure point relief.  To compare this to a Temperapedic is ludicrous.  Throughout the night I wake up in agonizing hip, shoulder and lower back pain regardless of sleeping position.  I question the integrity of this product and feel I got scammed.

Pros: THe mattress is as advertised, no problems.
Cons: I would not do business with this company again.

I got the basic bed in a box mattress. I like it and am glad I bought it. I also bought the foundation which was a total rip off. It in nothing like the picture you will see on the BIAB web site, it is cheap pine, badly sawed, horribly packed, and not at all smooth or well made. I could have done better with 1" ply cut to fit my bed, or with almost any box spring available here in Los Angeles.
I spoke with the president of the company responsible for the box springs and found him uncooperative, hostile, and unprepared to acknowledge that badly milled hardware with metal strings that cut finges, badly sawed lumber with splinters, packaging that included insects added up to a poor product that falls far below what is represented by Bed In A Box. He offered nothing towards a resolution of my dissatisfaction, but the damn thing is so heavy and expensive to ship I decided not to return it.
Don't waste you money on the foundation.

After looking for a mattress to replace our queen sized RV mattress, I came upon the Bed In A Box web page. After reading the reviews my husband and I decided to try it. Our first trip provided us with some of the best sleep ever on any bed! We were so pleasantly suprised. Since then we have purchased a PacDown Plus Mattress in regular queen for our guest room (guests complained the old mattress was very uncomfortable). We recently acquired a vacation home and purchased a California King PacDown Plus for our master and another queen for that guest room. We have a leading brand of memory foam mattress on our master bedroom that we have been happy with for the past 5 years, but after spending a good number of nights at the vacation home we have decided to replace our very expensive mattress with the much more comfortable, and affordable PacDown Plus mattress in our master. I have joint aches and fibromyalgia. I never wake up hurting after sleeping on the BedinaBox mattresses!
