Pros: Absorbent, well made, affordable Cons: Take awhile to dry
When I first became interested in using cloth diapers, I wanted to start with a very small sample of diapers to make sure I liked using cloth on my baby. At the urging of another Epinions member, DGTurtle2, I decided to choose Bellies and Buns diapers...
Pros: Soft, well made, very absorbent, cute prints Cons: Not yet available with snaps
I have used AIOs for most of our cloth diapering time, but when my boys outgrew them, I began searching for a new diaper. When I started cloth diapering about 2 years ago, I had never heard of WAHM diapers, but now there are well over 50 to choose from....
Pros: Wonderfully absorbent, readily available, large size range, made by a great WAHM!! Cons: NONE!!
Yes, I was a cloth diaper addict. It's sad, but true. One afternoon, at the tail-end of a particularly bad diaper buying binge, I came across a website with a cute name and an adorable line of diapers...Bellies and Buns, run by a woman named Karen....
Pros: The best fit! The best prints! The best absorbency! The best quality! Cons: I didn't find them sooner!
Switching to prefolds/covers after having struck out with fitted's and AIO's I ran across Bellies and Buns. The wide selection of absolutely delicious prints enticed me to place an order for two diapers (which come with matching doubler.....not bad!!)...
Pros: well made, great fit, good absorbency Cons: Velcro on wings is not backed with fabric
Bellies and Buns are wonderful cloth diapers, and I have tried an extensive variety. Each one is hand sewn by a WAHM (work at home mom) just for your child. These are fitted diapers. That means that they are put on just like a disposable would be, but...
Pros: exquisite workmanship, super absorbent, excellent fit Cons: only available in Aplix (a con for snap lovers)
What can I say? It was bound to happen sooner or later. With all of the new WAHM (Work At Home Mom) diapers coming out, I was bound to find one that I loved even more than my old favorite. The day that my old favorite diaper was de-throned was in...
Pros: Great trim fit. Cons: You'll like them so much you'll have to buy more.
When I first started using cloth diapers I used a diaper service because I didn't know that there was anything better. Was I ever surprised to find the world of WAHM (Work At Home Mom) diapers.
Pros: Thick and absorbent without being too bulky Cons: Aplix started curling on the ends, but no biggie
I have only tried one Bellies and Buns diaper, so this opinion will be based on my experience with that diaper, but remember, I always update my opinions within time. Especially since I plan to buy more of these. =)
Pros: Beautiful prints, affordable, trim yet absorbent, cuddly soft Cons: some many not like aplix, which is how these diapers close
Bellies and Buns are one of my favourite diapers. These beautifully made, soft, trim yet absorbent diapers are always at the top of my diaper pile and the first to go along with me in the diaper bag. Unlike some other fitted diapers, these diapers take...
Pros: Great fit, very absorbant and they now have snaps! Cons: None found
We have a Bellies and Buns side snap hemp diaper. We really like it a lot. It is very absorbant, the hemp fabric helps a lot with absorbancy. It fits well and has held up well over washes. Though it did take a while to dry, but that is common with...
Pros: Trim fitting, cute, quick drying Cons: Not too absorbent
I am semi-new to the world of cloth diapering. I became interested in switching my son to cloth diapers because some friends of mine who use cloth were constantly raving about the wonders of CD-ing. I did a little research and discovered that using cloth...
Pros: cute, cheap, wahm made Cons: not very absorbant, leaves red marks
I bought these diapers in the newborn size. They looked so tiny when I got them and I was pregnant, but oddly enough I can still squeeze them on my 3 month old son (who wears mostly 6 month sizes). I bought them used, so some issues may not apply to new ...
Pros: Cute prints, good workmanship. Cons: velcro, absorbency, drying time.
I picked up a couple of Bellied and Buns fitted diapers after everyone raved about how wonderful they were. They were fairly inexpensive as cloth diapers go, about $8. They did indeed come in cute prints and the workmanship was fairly well....
I didn't really see anything special about these dipes. I used the ones made of hemp. They weren't as absorbant as I had expected and this is hard to explain, but after awhile they sort of reshaped themselves and every time I used them I had to fiddle with them in order to get them not to curl funny.
They were very trim and fit under any cover, but I would not personally use them again.
