Cons: not for children under six years, can cause drowsiness

Pros: Excellent allergy relief
Cons: Causes a lot drowsiness
Summary: I have minimal allergies during the summer that aren't that warranting for the prescription stuff, so I stick to Benadryl during that time. The 100 capsule bottle at Costco is also pretty cheap for $15 and lasts me the whole season. When it comes to ... read more

Cons: sedating, so not to be taken while driving or working

Pros: No sleeplessness, no side effects, works great if not used constantly.
Cons: Tends to make me more allergen sensitive after long term use.
Summary: Benadryl Dye free works very well for me with no side effects, the only thing I have noticed is that after taking it for a few weeks during our infamous ragweed season the Benadryl tends to begin working in reverse for me. I know that sounds crazy
