Pros: Great price, cute design, do not leak. Cons: Velcro sides can rip if pulled too tight.
I am so glad I found these diapers at BJ's Wholesale Club! I am pretty picky as far as diapers go but I also do not like to spend a lot on them. Berkley and Jensen diapers were the perfect solution for me! These diapers come in a box with 4 packs ...
Pros: Value, comfort, durability...these diapers are great and you can't beat the price! Cons: None..really! Okay, if you must have one, maybe they aren't as "cute" as some others.
I admit I love a bargain, but since I am an "older" mom and this is my last, I was willing to dish out extra money. I've tried them all..Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, White Cloud, as well as many store brands out there, and I keep coming back to BJ's. I have ...
Pros: Leak-free, strong tabs, cute Clifford design, inexpensive. Cons: Diaper quantity decreasing with increased size, but this is the norm for all diaper brands.
I used Pampers for my first baby - who didn't, right? Back then (1999), the store brand diapers were terrible. It did not matter which store brand either - they were awful. Huggies leaked, still do. Luvs always seemed to cause a diaper rash. Pampers ...
Pros: Soft, stretchy tabs and waist, low cost Cons: None, unless you want scent and designs
I had heard that White Cloud diapers and BJ's diapers are the same, so I tried the White Cloud (Wal-Mart) first and I loved them, so I bought a case of BJ's diapers and they are exactly the same, except for the design on the front of the diaper, which I ...
The tabs do rip off , I don't think they were made for an active two year old. The tabs rip off while he is playing around. We have gone through many clothes. If the tabs didn't rip off so much we would continue buying the product.
What happened to the Size 4? by ctmomof2boys ,May 30 '07
Pros: Can't beat the price. Cons: Quality and size of the diaper decreased dramatically.
Just purchased the new larger box of Size 4 diapers for my 1 1/2 year old. The price went up a bit but the quality and the size of the diapers went down. My son soaked through the diaper into his shorts last night which he's never done before in a B&J diaper. You can feel the thickness of the diaper is not the same and the width of the diaper smaller, especially where you need it most. The elastic waist band is also shorter than in the last box. My son is only 23 lbs. so he should be able to use the Size 4 with plenty of room to spare. I'll be returning the "little duckies" and hopefully can find the sailboats again. If not, maybe will have to try a more expensive brand.
Good Diapers at an excellent price by colelynnb ,Jan 28 '07
Pros: Good diapers at a excellent price Cons: None
With my first child it was pampers all the way but with my second child I realized that diapers needed to be functional not cute. After a friend suggested them, we tried the Berkley & Jensen diapers and are very happy with them. The only time we had diaper rash was when we switched back to Pampers after someone gave me a 1/2 box. I like the fact they are fragrance free and we rarely have leaks or problems with the tabs. These diapers are the same as the white cloud brand at Walmart.
Pros: Used to be a good price at 18.99 Cons: Diapers went up by 4.00 and diaper quality became cheaper with no stretchy tabs.
I used to LOVE these diapers. The price was incredible and they worked well. I had no problems, until I went and purchase another box and found the price jumped $4.00 per box. I went to use the diapers the next morning and found that the quality had changed and the diapers were manufactured more cheaply now. I am so disappointed they jacked up the prices that high to give me a not such a great diaper :(
I have sent a note to BJ's in hopes that they will go back to manufacturing the diapers the way they have previously done for years!!
Diapers were Good But.... by blackhairlady ,Oct 08 '06
Pros: Cheap; Good absorbency Cons: Diapers Rash easily; Tabs were easy to remove or break
The absorbency was very good, considering I only paid 19.99 for a size 4 box. The outside of the diaper was cheaply made and the tabs were alright. Occasionally the tabs opened; my daughter was an active 20 months old and it was summer. She felt uncomfortable in them and complained and developed diaper rash easily. I don't use regular diapers at night, I use Easy Ups by Pampers. I do have to say Pampers Cruiser are the best in absorbency and less diaper rashes.
Pros: GREAT PRICE FOR THE AMOUNT OF DIAPERS. GREAT LEAK PROTECTION. Cons: TABS DO BREAK SOMETIMES, BUT NOT VERY OFTEN
I WAS SO GLAD I FOUND THESE DIAPERS.GREAT LEAK PROTECTION FOR A GREAT PRICE.LOVE THESE DIAPERS.MY SON IS VERY ACTIVE 2 YEAR OLD AND HE FEELS COMFORTABLE IN THESE.
Pros: Used to be a good price Cons: more expensive and cheaper quality
I use to LOVE these diapers. The price was incredible and they worked well. I had no problems, until I went and purchased 2 more boxes and the price jumped $4.00 per box and the quality went down... I had to change my kids clothes 3 times this weekend, they soaked right thru the diapers. I am so disappointed they jacked up the prices that high to give me a not such a great diaper :(
Mother of Twins and Very good Diapers! by nkovacsics ,Jun 27 '06
Pros: Cost effective, use box as recycle box, no leakage problems, coupons Cons: None really-
I am a mom to 6 month old twin boy and girl. These are the best off brand diapers ever. I have tried many of store brand diapers and these diapers are the best. I prefer Huggies as a name brand but cant see spending so much money on them when I have 2 babies to diaper. I highly recommend these diapers to any parent. I have never had trouble with the tabs and my husband enjoys the Clifford design, however the box I just bought the other day has a new pattern and is not as fun! As long as the diapers dont leak, I am a happy mom!!!
So glad I read other positive reviews and tried them...Great Diaper!!!! by njrivergirl ,Sep 16 '07
Pros: NO LEAKS EVER! Great price, cute design, curved design, strong stretchy tabs... Cons: None, seriously.
Baby Boy is 8 months old now, was using a popular Name brand for first 6 months then because their "leak proof guarantee" didn't live up to it's claim, we were on the hunt for another diaper. Before going to BJ's, I looked for customer reviews and found good things being said about Berkley and Jensen diapers. So I set out to take a chance, the price was great, the quantity would last a long time (174!) and the challenge was on to see if they would HOLD the baby's "you know". Happily they passed and have never failed us once. They have cute yellow duck design on front, not bulky, curves are form fitting, tabs are stretchy and strong, and most important, no leaks ever even at night!
Just invested in my 2nd box of size 3's and we are so very pleased. Nothing negative to report at all! Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
Best Store Brand Diaper So Far by kgood2005 ,Jul 16 '06
Pros: Inexpensive, no leaks, no design all over the diaper. Cons: None so far.
I love the Target diapers but since the nearest Target is too far away we decided to try the BJ's diapers. Well imagine my joy when I discovered they are identical. They don't leak and are less expensive than Pampers and Luvs which we were using. They also don't have a fragrance. My son, who sleeps a minimum of 9 hours straight, can stay in one all night long and they have never leaked. They also have only leaked absorbent gel a couple of times as opposed to White Cloud which leaked every other time but that's another review. The only odd thing about them is the stretchy section on the front which seems useless with how they are designed. I just doesn't do anything. But its never been a problem. If you have a BJ's membership you should definitely give these a try.
My baby is only 6 months old so I don't know how they will work with larger babies.
We had a coupon for 7 dollars off so we only paid 11.99. But they are normally 18.99
Pros: Good absorbency Cons: Poorly made, light construction, flimsy tabs
A girlfriend who is very picky about things like diapers recommended these to me. So I checked out epinions and was thrilled to see such great reviews. So I bought them for my 18 month old and was VERY disappointed. The tabs didn't rip, they rolled which caused the diaper to come off. Then she had a pretty heavy diaper during a nap and the weight caused one side to come undone causing a huge mess in her crib! Although the diaper was heavy, she's had much heavier diapers and this never happened with any other brand. However, when they stayed on the absorbency seemed comparable to the name brand ones.
My first impression on opening the box was the flimsiness and light weight construction of the diaper. So we're going to finish this box during the day and go back to Pampers at night until their gone.
