Pros: It works great; takes up little room; simple to use. Cons: Instructions can be a little overwhelming.
Summary: It's not too terribly often that I'm completely bowled over by a product. Most things I come across in my daily life fall into one of two categories; 'useful', and 'useless'. Ocassionally, I happen upon something that I can pigeon hole as ... read more

Pros: Easy to use with no leaks. Cons: Too small :(
Summary: When I first used it it worked great until about the sixth or so time then it started leaking between the top and bottom pieces. So I stopped using it for a few months. But one day I really wanted a cup so I rinsed out the pot and on a whim put the ... read more

Pros: Looks adorable on the stovetop. Does steam the milk resulting in an acceptable froth. Cons: Leaking results in a bad cup of cappuccino and a huge stovetop mess. Pricey.
Summary: While cute in concept, I haven't been able to get the thing to make a decent cup of cappuccino yet. The concept: make cappuccino in one step. The bottom unit houses the water that makes the espresso and the top unit houses the milk that automatically ... read more

Pros: easy to use, consistent, Cons: valve can need a good vinegar soak
Summary: I got this over a month ago. The first few cups of coffee you will make will suck but it gets better after the fifth one. The unit is easy to use. I have made coffee every day for over a month. The seal has been fine. I don't know what the other ... read more

Pros: Cappuccino is perfect, makes 10 ounces, easy to clean, well designed, and good price.
Cons: I would like to see a slightly larger version.
Summary: The Bialetti Mukka Express comes in three colors: a cow print, silver with a black bottom, and all silver. Each unit functions in the same way and each sells for $89.99. I did not find a store that sold it for less. That told me something. The ... read more

Pros: Excellent, great tasting results! Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Cons: Too hot to refill right away, so you can't really use it for company.
Summary: I was frustrated by the leak problems mentioned by other reviewers and stuck my Mukka Express in the cupboard after I broke down and purchased a Krups Espresso machine. Well the darn machine started leaking after only 4 months of use. The

Pros: made good coffee for a month Cons: leak, leak, leak
Summary: It leaks a lot. After couple of months of make a good coffee, it started leaking from the screw in area. We braved a few initial leaks thinking it would somehow miraculously fix itself. It started getting worse and was now getting dangerous. I thought

Pros: Excellent cappacino every time. Easy to clean. Durable. Cons: Wish Lufthansa Center Store would supply the replacement rings.
Summary: I love my Bialetti Mukka Expresso Machine. My wife gave me this as a Christmas gift for 2008. In Beijing, she found it at the Lufthansa Center, so it was a pricey 150USD. But the amount of cappacinos we cooked already has made up for it. A cappacino

Pros: Very good. Cons: Seals tight and can't hardly untwist top from bottom.
Summary: I love this thing, but afer making one pot of cappuccino I can't unscrew the top from the bottom. It took two people to untwist the thing. It made a very tight seal and when we finally got it to unscrew we heard the seal pop like opening a

Pros: A very good cappuccino, really Cons: Takes a little experimenting at first, but then it works.
Summary: At the beginning, I got a terrible cappuccino (I am Italian, so I know what a good one is!), with rests of coffee grind in it, no froth and a terrible taste. I was really upset and I thought I had wasted my money. Then I figured out what to

Pros: Great taste, easy to use Cons: Need to clean soon after use, before foam dries too much
Summary: We received the Mukka Express for Christmas and have used it every Sat/Sun since then. It makes a wonderful cup of cappuccino. It leaked once when I didn't tighten the two halves properly, but that was my fault. It's never happened again. Follow the

Pros: Considering the danger, there are no pros Cons: Burning down your house!
Summary: The unit leaked and put the flame out on my gas stove. I was in another room and smelled the gas. I had an open fire in the fire place at the time. Not to mention that since November this "machine" has wasted more milk and expensive espresso that I can

Pros: Good quality latte, easy to use in theory. Cons: Gasket leaks 50%+ of the time.
Summary: And when it's bad it's horrid. Unfortunately, that's over half of the time. Like many others, I had problems with the seal. Adjusting the amount of coffee grounds, checking threads, tightening more or less, etc...nothing seemed to have any effect on

Pros: Cute, requires no plug in. Cons: Too much of a hassle to clean.
Summary: I was so excited to get my Mukka Express. It comes with a lot of cleaning and disappointment. I used illy with the express and was let down by the entire experience. I will be returning this expensive gadget for something easier to manage. Be careful of

Pros: Fun, cute, when it works, the cappuccino tastes great Cons: expensive, high maintenance
Summary: I have had two Mukka Express machines. The first was a lot of fun and made a good Cappuccino. OK, foam was not white, but it was good. After about 3 months of daily use, it started to fail by not holding a seal between the top and bottom units.

Pros: Fun to look at (I have the cow print), easy to use. Cons: Take the time to rinse the unit immediately, which means delaying that first sip.
Summary: I am a small batch coffee roaster and have tried many different coffee makers. I love my Bodum vacuum coffee maker and wanted something similar for espresso and cappuccino. I received the Mukka Express yesterday and have made two perfect cappuccinos.

Pros: Fun to use. Unique and good with guests. Cons: Pricey. Hard to clean. Cappuccino not too good.
Summary: Hi, It's pricey. Cappuccino is subpar (not like starbucks quality). It's aluminum which tends to "bloom" if you dont clean it right away. Plus it gets hard to clean since the milk can burn and stick onto the Mukka and it becomes hard to scrape off. I

Pros: It made great cappuccino, authentic tasting and perfect foam when I first received it. Cons: The little cork doesn't prevent the steam from infiltrating the milk all through heating process.
Summary: This Mukka Express worked just great from Christmas to April. The milk was steamed and frothed by the power of the steam when the button popped up. Then, the valve mechanism began to malfunction. Bialetti, to their credit, sent me a new valve, at no
