OK,TO START I FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND REVIEWS ON THESE SPEAKERS. I HAVE READ RAVE REVIEWS ON OTHER BIC SPEAKERS AND THAT IS WHAT I ENDED UP RELYING ON WHEN I PURCHASED THE 1530'S. I PERSONALLY LIKE BIGGER DRIVERS. HAVING OWNED ...

Pros: mdf(medium density fiberboard) cabinets.
Cons: harsh mids, peircing highs,no bass!!! no crossover.

i recently purchsed a pair of bic rtr-1530 loudspeakers.
You get what you pay for!!!
they have no bass, harsh mids and peircing highs!
crossover , what crossover?????
the speakers are 8 ohms ,
but i was curious and took a peek inside,
6 ohm woofers , 8 ohm mids and tweeters.
try them if you want to burn up your amp!!!
i have a pair of jvc sp-7700 with jbl l-36 crossovers,
and they sound hella better than the bic's.
they sound like crap , are built like crap.
the one and only thing i like is the cabinets.
the cabinets are made of 3/4" mdf(medium density fiberboard)
dont waste your money!!!
i paid $50 for my two jvc's at a pwan shop,
and they sound better.
