Pros: A fun puzzle game for kids, lots of learning opportunities Cons: Lack of expansion packs
One of the many games that my daughter received from Christmas was Rush Hour Jr.. With a recommended age of 6-8 I has planned to put it away until my 4 year old was a little older. I’m glad she got into it before I had a chance to put it away! ...

Pros: Challenging puzzle, cute presentation, keeps kids engaged for hours Cons: You might want to skip the Junior version in favor of the adult game.

by sandra3 ,Jun 30 '05
Pros: Excellent game, quiet, can use anywhere Cons: none
My son got this for his 7th birthday and my husband and I love it, we actually play it more than he does, no just kidding. Great game, can be used in the car or at home. Problem solving skills used for this game, easy to self correct-this is the toy that I now buy for every birthday party we go to!! Love it!

Perfect gift for every 6 year old on your list
by mykidzmomnow ,May 21 '05
Pros: self-guided, strengthens analytical reasoning skills Cons: not self-contained like the "big kids'" version
We are giving every 6-year old friend a Rush Hour Jr game this year. It is great for helping them to settle down without yelling! Parents can rest knowing their child is developing his analytical skills and can let him go solo or mom and dad can play along. Especially good for Kindergarten and First Grade boys for which it is so hard to buy "non-commercial." As the children age out of Rush Hour Jr, encourage the parents to buy the expandable Rush Hour game -- or give it as another gift in a few years!
