Pros: Provides light conditioning without weighing hair down: fresh, clean scent. Cons: Expensive in price; limited availability.
Over the years I've tried countless different conditioners and will confess that I'm a closet hoarder as far as hair care products go. I ALWAYS keep plenty on hand, especially conditioner, as I refuse to ever run out! For a long time I resisted the ...
Pros: So many: Read on...... Cons: Price, but it is outweighed by product perfomance
Fine, thin, or over worked hair? If you hair type is like mine, most days you probably get out of the shower with your hair even more messier than it was before you got it.
Pros: Works wonderfully as a light conditioning product, eliminates static Cons: A tad expensive
Welcome to my French Hair Fantasy....
I am sitting in a salon in Paris being pampered. A striking, young man brings me a glass of wine (he is also muscular!). He soon begins massaging my scalp with a gentle conditioner. The...
Pros: detangles like you wouldn't believe! Cons: not good as a daily conditioner
Here's the scene of my disaster: it is a hot, muggy, summer afternoon in Atlanta and I'm driving down the interstate in my Jeep. Top down, wind is hitting me in all directions. The road is a blur, my sunglasses tremble to stay on, my hair has long flung ...
Pros: Keeps my hair from knotting and tangling Cons: It is yet another step in the hair care process
It is a bad pun and I am sorry but sometimes you just have to let these things go.
The salon where I get my hair cut and highlighted sells several product lines. Every so often the owner gives out some nice sample sized bottles of different...
For those of you who are used to curly, tangle-prone hair, you might have traditionally relied on a conditioner or a cream rinse to loosen those knots and make your hair feel smoother. That usually works to get tangles out, but often leaves a heavy...
Great product-best conditioner out there by nmorphis ,Feb 20 '04
Pros: Leaves hair soft, no build-up, great at eliminating tangles. Cons: A little on the pricey side.
Why I chose this product
I color, highlight, blow dry and straighten my hair. I have tried tons of conditioners. Most all of them leave my hair with a film. I knew Biolage had a great reputation so I gave this a shot.
Using the product
After I shampooed my hair with my Biolage normalizing conditioner I applied the conditioner. The product itself is a blue green. It does not have much of a smell and it reminds me more of hair gel than conditioner. I rinsed it out immediately and followed with cool water.
The results
The comb went right through my hair with no hang ups. After I finished blow drying my hair I could tell a big difference. My hair was very soft without feeling sticky or still dirty.
Follow-up
I have been using this product for six weeks and absolutely love now as much as I did in the beginning. No build-up!
Biolage Detangling Solution by aihutch ,Feb 15 '05
Pros: Good detangler. Cons: Wish it made my hair a little more soft.
This is very good for someone with curly hair. I use it in the shower as a comb thru, and when I rinse my hair is soft. Makes the comb glide through my hair, and it smells good too.
Pros: Smells nice. That's about it. Cons: Doesn't condition/detangle. Expensive. Waste of Money!
I have long hair past mid back. I get bad tangles in my hair and have tried many products with nothing really working. I tried this stuff and it conditioned less than cheap Drug Store brands, and it did NOTHING for tangles. The funniest thing is my mother was at BJs Warehouse and, without asking me first, picked up 2 liters of Berkley & Jensen Detangler that is supposed to be comparable to the Biolage Detangling Solution. It sat under the sink for a month before I was forced to use it in a moment of desperation. It's MUCH BETTER! It's less than HALF the price, and, from someone who has tried EVERY detangler out there and spent alot of $$$, believe me, Berkley & Jensen's Detangler is THE BEST THING OUT THERE! It smells just as nice as the Biolage and works better.
