Pros: Stylish, compact, reasonably priced Cons: fur, fur, fur, fur, and uh, fur
Summary: You are no doubt wondering what a reptile has to do with a review on a Bissell Easy Vac Plus Bare Floor and Carpet. Well, actually nothing whatsoever. Next review, no wait! Please. I was just asking myself who would this be ideal for. When ... read more

Pros: Rolls easily, sucks well. Cons: Plastic stress points. Hose can get blocked. Dirt cup a bit of a hassle.
Summary: I had this vacuum for at least five years. It performed well as a hard floor vacuum most of the time. When I noticed the suck was down I would disconnect the attachment hose, extend it and check to make sure nothing was lodged. A time or two I even ... read more

Pros: Light weight. Wheels make it easy to maneuver Cons: Rotating brush too easily clogged
Summary: I purchased this stick vac after having read good reviews about it. I needed something for my bare floors, that I could use instead of a broom and dustpan.
After putting it together (it is quite easy to assemble although the instructions are ... read more

Pros: Lightweight, powerful motor, excellent design, solid construction
Cons: Filtration system is weak, hose of questionable value
Summary: Before going into detail about this dandy little machine, I'd like to set the stage for its use. My wife and I are renting a lovely older Victorian house with mostly bare wood floors. This is a rather large two-story with raised floors in a few ... read more

Pros: Low price, excellent performance, low noise, features, sturdy construction, easy to use Cons: Flexible hose could be a little longer, dust cup could be more transparent
Summary: I had a Hoover Sprint vacuum cleaner before and it didn't seem to do the job well, so I went to Amazon.com and got this Bissell 3108 EasyVac Powerbrush vacuum for $50. The vacuum is very easy to assemble and features sturdy construction ... read more

Pros: Small, light. Cons: Doesn't suck anything up! Jams on DUST!
Summary: What's with all the great reviews about this thing? Did I get a broken one?
This "vacuum" is pretty weak. I bought it because of the name - Bissel (supposed to be a reputable brand!) and the "Powerful 5 am motor!" sales pitch on the box. ... read more

Pros: Maneuverable, quiet, built-in hose does not have to be plugged in to work Cons: Kind of short cord and hose
Summary: The mission: clean the floors. The battlefields: one kitchen/dinning area with tile and three bathrooms and a laundry room with vinyl. The added challenge: two toddlers learning to eat at the big table.
This is a job for

Pros: Lightweight, bagless, good suction for bare floors and carpet Cons: Hose too short, no lock for upright position, no brush for use with hose.
Summary: I was looking for a lightweight vacuum for use at our lake home that would work well on bare floors and area rugs. This one is great. It is so light weight yet powerful. The bagless system is also easy to empty. I looked at many full-sized and stick ... read more

Pros: Cheap. Small and does light duty work fine. Cons: Noisy, not powerful for furry animals.
Summary: We bought this handy upright when the nozzle guide wheels fell off of our old Hoover. I wished I had bought two of the old Hoover. They just don't make them like the one we had anymore. It lasted 8 years.
Well this Bissell is very similar in ... read more

Pros: Great for bare floors, unlike my upright. It resembles an upright, but it's lightweight.
Cons: Short power cord.
Summary: When I got my Easy Vac home, I immediately tested it out. I was very satisfied with its performance on both bare and carpeted floors.
When I tried it out in our biggest room, I had to change the power cord from one outlet to another, since I ... read more

Pros: Cleans well, Lightweight, Easy to Use. Cons: Tips over easily, hard to find replacement air filters.
Summary: I have three small boys - and they aren't winning any awards for eating neatly. Needless to say I was sweeping the kitchen floor a lot - but frankly, a broom just wasn't cutting it. I'm a perfectionist and somehow with a broom I can never get all of ... read more

Pros: great on bare floors, affordable Cons: not for carpets, must be emptied often
Summary: I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with hardwood floors. Sweeping wasn't getting the job done so I decided to invest in a vacuum. Being a graduate student, the idea of spending just sixty dollars was quite appealing. The vacuum does the trick on the ... read more

Pros: Light weight, great on hard wood floors Cons: short cord
Summary: My husband owns and operates a hardwood sales/install business. When we built our new home we naturally put down hardwood floors instead of carpet. I had a Hoover Wind Tunnel, but it just seemed like more vacuum than we needed. I found this Bissell in ... read more

Pros: Very lightweight, cheap Cons: DOES NOT SUCK AT ALL, can be used only on the bare floor
Summary: About a year ago after Cristmas we had very many needles on the floor and carpet, so we just took the cheapest
and smallest vacuum cleaner in Sears. It worked well by picking up those needles and even cleaned our very low carpet. In 3 months we've ... read more

Pros: cleans like a dream, no bag to mess with, lightweight, stores easy, excellent value Cons: This is a bare floor vacuum, so it's not suitable for carpeting.
