Cons: Does require a cord.

Pros: Quiet, efficient, gets the job done.
Cons: None observed yet.
Summary: We don't have many bushes around our house, but the yews I do have always looked scraggly by the time I was done hand-trimming, plus it took too long, and I never got them to look even.
