The worst I've seen
by lejarrag ,Aug 11 '08
Pros: Nice looks. Good as a kitchen ornament. Cons: It doesn't toast.
The toaster function failed the same day I bought it. Not so awful as it sounds: it worked for about two hours and I was able to make one toast.

Upper heating element failed after 6 mos.
by econsumer1961 ,Oct 22 '08
Pros: Styling is nice. Cons: Failed within 6 mos. Controls not readily understandable.
Bought this and it worked fine for about 6 months, then the upper heating element stopped working suddenly making the machine virtually worthless. I'm looking for another brand.

More Oven with your toaster.
by pmherbhome ,Mar 16 '08
Pros: The timer safety feature. Improved heating elements. The crumb tray is a front drawer pull-out. Cons: 9" cooking tray, exterior wall too hot, crumb tray clearance, interior is not coated.
Just purchased this and am liking it for the most part. The best feature is that it cannot be accidently turned on as it requires the timer to initiate each cooking feature. Similarly, it automatically turns off based on the timer feature.
I will always miss the space-maker feature of the original toaster oven but since this was discontinued, this model is a good counter choice. It does take up slightly more room on a counter than original and am finding that I need to allow more space to prevent cord from coming in contact with the exterior back wall as this tends to get hot and there is a smell of burning rubber; this being the cord pressed up against the back of the unit. A heat guard is a recommended feature.
The heating elements are protected with grills and seem much improved to original toaster oven elements that 'bowed' from the heat and eventually snapped.
The crumb tray is accessible as a front drawer however it could have greater clearance as there is little room to line with foil.
Good unit for the price of $59.

Won't toast your Muffins
by kennylz ,Jun 13 '08
Pros: Looks great, lots of room, good for baking, adjustable tray, removable crumb tray. Cons: Does not toast very well and the timer is annoying.
This unit seems good on the outside and looks nice. However, if you like toast toasted on both sides - forget it. If you want you English Muffin toasted - it will take two three turns of the timer.

Great Toaster Oven!!!
by orion14 ,Aug 09 '09
Pros: quality, appearance, bump-out in rear for larger pans, low price Cons: not recommended for use under cabinets
I bought this off the shelf in Wal Mart. I liked its features, appearance, and low price. I am completely satisfied with this toaster oven. It is the best one I have ever owned. I know to look for heat diffusers over the heating elements and to look for four heating elements. Those are important criteria for finding a toaster oven that can make great toast. This model has four elements with diffusers over each one. It makes toast right. The unit remains on when the door is open.
