Pros: Lightweight, portable, cheap & effective; good for nooks & crannies; ease of use
Cons: Short battery life; long charging time; strong side exhaust

Pros: Good when new and in first year. easy to empty and light.
Cons: Died in a year. Power supply user-hostile. Unit designed to frustrate repair or maintenance
Summary: When it was new, it worked fine and recharged. Now I've had to perform appliance surgery and found one of the four "C-size" nicad cells is bad(dead, open, 0.0 VDC, flat-line). It is in a proprietary (read non-replaceable) 4-cell pack. I got a year's use
