I received the B&D Cup At a Time DCM7 Coffee Maker as a present. It lasted about 2.5-3 years before it started to malfunction. That is, instead of the coffee pouring into the cup, it started to leak all over the counter and onto the floor. It was good while it lasted, but this time I will purchase a more reliable single-cup coffee machine.

Cons: Smelled really bad for the first few months. Exploded and never worked again.

This coffee maker has a good design, but the materials seem rather cheap (to go along with the price). It had a very strong plastic smell when I first opened it. I ran many cups of hot water through it, then let it sit for several months and the smell seemed to go away. It made a very good cup of coffee every day for about 2 weeks, then one day in mid-brew it made a loud pop, and exploded hot coffee grounds all over my office. It has not worked since.

I shopped around and looked at everything from the expensive pods to a couple of hundreds of dollar machines and this one is great! Easy to use, easy to clean, quick, hot and it automatically turns itself off. Couldn't ask for anything more!!
