Pros: THIS THING WORKS. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Cons: Accessories are terrible (but you can buy other brands)!
Can you keep a secret? I'm a sucker for infomercials. I have actually found that the most relaxing start to my day is not by watching the world's tragedies on the early morning news, but rather by numbing my (already numb) mind to paid programming. ...

VS200 Great, Bags are a Flop
by wellsnlisa ,Mar 13 '07
Pros: Fantastic Price for the Machine Quality. Cons: Don't even bother with the bags that come in the box. Buy FoodSaver Bags!
I'm so glad I read the Epinion review before returning my machine to the store. I wasted bag after bag when the seal would fail and I would have to start over. When one would finally seal correctly I would find it had failed in the freezer days later. I was about to return my VS200 to the store when I read the Epinion review that suggested using the FoodSaver Bags. I redid every single item in my freezer and not one bag has failed. HOORAY!

terrible for fresh food
by wondersllc ,Oct 14 '06
Pros: nice color Cons: not worth 5 cents since it does not seal if any moisture present at all
If you use the sealer for fresh food or fish....as it sucks the air out it also sucks out the water which in turn keeps you from sealing the bag...the heat will not seal since the water is running out cooling it off. therefore you must freeze all the food first before sealing...kind of defeats the purpose .................
