Pros: Great premise for design. portable water fill biggest feature Cons: I think there are B&D carafe hurling events being held worldwide

Pros: Makes the hottest coffee and keeps it that way! Cons: none!
I have had my Black and Decker Thermal carafe for over 10 years. My husband had it when we got married in '92. Every other coffee maker pales in comparison.

I am in a complete fog when I...
I love a great cup of coffee and this is one of the best products I've ever used to achieve that. As an alternative to the heat element types that keeps your coffee hot, this coffee maker shines way above that. The coffee doesn't acquire that...

Mornings are hectic enough, I don't have time , nor the will to fumble around in the kitchen. Because I have no elf to trust making my coffee for me, I found the next best thing. A Black & Decker coffeemaker with a Digital Clock Timer that takes...
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Affordable Cons: None
This product was given to me as a gift and I absolutely love it! It works great and has never given me a minute of grief. I always have a hot cup of coffee waiting for me, even a long while after the coffee has finished brewing.
Pros: You can have coffee when you first get up. Cons: The coffee ain't real real fresh.
I love this coffeemaker! I bought it because I was wanting something to come on before I get up (I'm lazy) and the BLACK & DECKER THERMAL CARAFE COFFEEMAKER with DIGITAL CLOCK/TIMER look like one I might like. I love the BLACK & DECKER THERMAL...
Pros: None at all. Cons: Everything you can think of
This product stinks. The coffee doesn't stay hot for more than 3 minutes. It is clumsy and awkward. I called customer service and didn't get a response. Bad service
Ahh, The Smell of Silicon In The Morning! by Alicee2 ,Feb 13 '06
Pros: Ummm...hang on, if I think long enough, one might come to me... Cons: Burning wires might be a possible safety issue?
If you've read any other reviews about this coffeemaker, you already know that the clock is hard to see, coffee doesn't stay hot, and the pour spout is poorly designed, i.e., you either get a trickle or a burned hand. I could work around all of that...really! So, rather than elaborate on those negative features, I will just mention the one thing that should keep anyone from buying this coffeemaker.
I've had two of these coffeemakers since June, 2005. The first one had a meltdown one month after I bought it. To their credit, Black & Decker replaced the coffeemaker, even though I hadn't yet sent in the warranty card.
Tonight, six months later, the replacement has also had a meltdown. The smell of burning silicon is still strong as I type this. It isn't even brewing coffee when this happens, it's just sitting there plugged in.
Tomorrow I will call B&D again. Only this time, I will insist upon a refund.
Pros: Fits under counter , a button in the handle for early cup. Cons: To much mess, not very good coffee!
I loved my first B&D thermos coffee maker that kept the coffee hot for hours in a thermos lined insulated pitcher that poured very well into any cup. Then for some reason I thought new was better so I went for B&D again, but this time I needed Paper filters again, I have a gold one that is reuseable,(More expense). Then I poured, or should I say tried to pour a cup and with the screw in lid slightly open and it took forever, and ever and ever. Really!!! On the next cup I took the lid off and coffee spilled all over the counter.Every morning of this is a real pain and when my sister comes to visit we just keep paper towels on the counter to catch the spills and to top it all of the coffee doesn't taste to good when its fresh and worst after sitting in the metal container for an hour. BAD DESIGN
Worst coffee maker I've ever seen by qzmn ,Jan 01 '08
Pros: NONE Cons: Not enough room to list
Useless spigot on pot. The coffee practically drips out while you wait for your cup to fill. So you learn not to bother with it, then find out that it has a lousy pour spout (the coffee goes all over the place. The top is a pain to unscrew (which must be done if you don't want to wait all day because the coffee barely drips out of that too when you just loosen it) It's also a pain to screw back in without cross threading it. Like coffee grinds? If so you'll love it. For some reason it tends to send coffee grinds into the pot. My mother bought it and hates it. So does everybody else. This is a typical Black and Decker creation, just like their tools.
