We had this coffee maker for about a year and then it just quit. We would press buttons and get no results. Prior to its death the plastic pod holder had broken in a couple of places so it was on its way out. When it worked it made pretty good coffee. Overall the quality was poor. Metal parts would have made a huge difference. We have since paid a higher price for a better unit.

I got this thinking it would be quick and easy to make one good cup of coffee at a time either at home when I only wanted one cup of coffee or to take with me when I left the house. It does make one cup of coffee at a time and it uses the cute little pods and it is convenient, but make a GOOD cup of coffee-it does not! The coffee is somewhat lukewarm when it finished brewing and it is not good nor strong enough  for me at all. I would not recommend this product. We bought it and it has been sitting in the box ever since.

I have now gone through 3 of these units. Each one has broken down in some new manner. Each one has been replaced under the one year warranty. Luckily I registered the units when I got them. That was not a problem. Cut off the cord send it in with $8 bucks get a new unit that will give you bad coffee for a few months before breaking down again. Now I am tired of sending in for new ones and I can not get a refund. I have never had 3 units of the same type break down. I would expect to get more response after 3 failures than just another unit.

This product worked fine for the first few weeks, then it sh*t the bed! You try to make a 9oz cup of coffee and it comes out 5oz. Not to mention that coffee sprays everywhere! Very disappointing!

Pros: Wasted coffee is eliminated since you can make single cups.
Cons: The quality of that single cup is mediocre at best.

I am not very satisfied with this product. Although I have had no problems with the workmanship, (I've only used it about 10 times) I cannot get a decent tasting cup of coffee. As mentioned in other reviews, the coffee is not available in many flavors (although there is now cappuccino available; I haven't tried it as yet). To get around this, I bought a third party converter that allows me to use regular ground coffee with special tiny filters in place of the pods. This helps with the lack of variety because I can now use any type of coffee I'd like; however, I have still been unable to get a decently strong cup of coffee. I finally tried using two pods and running the 7 oz cup size twice in a mug. This managed to make a decently strong cup, but the flavor leaves something to be desired.

Home Café, right. This is the worst way to invest your money. Not a heap-o-engineering thought went into this (successfully, anyway). We tried buying one, and it was defective, tech support told us to exchange it, and we did. 2nd try and the thing leaked about the same amount of water as you were trying to brew.

Pros: NONE Whatsoever
Cons: Obviously this machine was not tested before delivered to consumer.

Push the 9 oz button and get 5 oz of weak coffee filtered through expensive coffee pods. Wish I had sent it back.
