Pros: Can burn up to 52X Cons: Some bundles are not rated 48X but are 40X

Garbage! Over half wouldn't record. The ONLY disk that has ever failed on my unit.

Pros: NONE..these were awful! Cons: Over half would not record at all
Many of those that did sounded bad
I had had good luck with Sony products (car stereos, cd players) in the past so I saw a 50 spindle of these CD-R discs I bought them...even though they cost more than the Fugi and TDK discs I usually bought. What a disappointment! These things are junk!!! I NEVER had a disc fail when I recorded...ever! The Sony CD-Rs were terrible! Less than half worked, and even some of them sounded terrible. After achieving good results with every other disc I had used previously, I began to think (incorrectly) that all CD-Rs were the same. I was wrong. The Sony cd-rs stunk. I will call the 1-800 number but I hope that they agree to not send me any more of these things. I went back to the Fuji and TDK discs and they all worked perfectly 100% of the time. I have never written an opinion here on anything before. These Sony discs ticked me off so much that I thought I'd save some of you some money. They are, at best, expensive coasters.
