Pros: Great book couldn't get through the day without it. Cons: Not really something you would want to carry around with you.
Being a Pawnbroker I have the unique opportunity to test many different items everyday. Believe me you see everything from TVs to tools. Not only is my job to make sure that these items work it my job to know the general price and various features of different products. I work primarily with tools and electronics however I do deal in many other areas.
We use a lot of catalogs and publications in the pawn business. Hands down the Blue Book of Gun Values is the most treasured possession when purchasing a firearm. Looking up values takes seconds and in any business every second counts. This book has closed more deals for me than a million hours of sales workshops and training could ever even hope to do. For some reason when something is in black and white all arguments about the value of something stop. I have used this publication for the purchase of over 100 firearms in the past year alone. In addition to a purchase reference I also can easily price all my firearms and the guess work is down to an absolute minimum. This book is an excellent addition to your collection.
