You don't know me, but I REALLY don't normally run around being all excited about things like cat boxes! But...this one is brilliant. I wasn't sure at first if it would be the box for me, but it turned out to be worth every penny. The messiest cat on earth (mine) can't throw litter out of it. It smells nice. And, best of all, the dog can't get her head up around the corner inside to get her midnight snack!

Our cat has cost me a fortune when it comes to litter boxes. Most are just too small for her and she ends up not pulling herself all the way in, which of course results in a big mess on the floor. She also manages to toss litter all over the place which is frustrating.

When I bought the Booda Clean Step, I thought maybe it would solve our problem because it is more contained than other litter boxes. I wasn't sure if our cat would like it but it was worth a try.

This has been by far the best litter box I have purchased. The cat has been doing well with it. No more accidents on the floor and no more litter being tossed around. It goes no further than the ramp. I love it!

I used this box when I had two cats, and they were both bad about scattering litter when they got out of their box. So I thought if they had to walk down a path out of the box that less litter would end up on the floor. This was not the case. I think there was actually more litter on the floor. It helped to control odor. It was not easy to clean, and the liners made for this box were really difficult to use.

Pros: Keeps everything contained, nice colors, nice looking design, reasonable price.
Cons: Litter can't be swept out; stays until you vacuum. Stairs need re-designing.

I bought this because I have two cats and take care of one friend's dog a few hours a day and he started getting interested in the contents of the litter box.
I like the color I chose (light green)and it took the cats only a day or so to get used to it. Now, they seem to like the cover.
The dog, of course, hates it; no way can he get to the litter.
The only problem is the litter on the stairs; it can't really be swept out with a wisk broom and can't really be swept back into the rest of the litter.
I think I've decided to drill a few holes on the left side of the stairs so I can sweep the litter through the holes and then sweep it up (it will still be more or less contained in a small area) off the floor; this seems easier to me than dragging the vacuum attachment into the bathroom every day.
Overall, this box is a good design and eliminates several problems. I use a few different scoopers I keep in a bucket to get into the corners, etc.

Cons: Flawed odor filter design. Lid a little annoying to place/seal properly

I put it next to their old litter box side by side and my cats quickly adjusted to the new litter box. It keeps the litter either inside or on the steps as designed.

However the product does have one flaw. The filter that comes with it is attached with a simple palstic snap. In less than 8 hours my cat figured this out... and well... we just don't use the odor filter anymore.

I have two cats, one a Bengal and the other Maine Coon, even though the Maine Coon is much bigger than the Bengal, the entry was large enough to accomodate her. She also really enjoys digging, she tends to toss the litter, and this box seems to keep it in check better than the regular deep wall, but open litter boxes we also have.

It only holds about half as much litter as most litter boxes due to the steps taking up one side of the interior, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing, we keep all the litter boxes well patroled anyway.

Pros: None beyond those of a regular litter box
Cons: Very pricy for a basically ineffective solution.

Bought this because I have a 12 pound kitty that likes to kick litter around. I've had it a week, and so far, there is just as much litter on the floor outside the box as there was with the old cheapo box from Target.
