This book is a waste of money. It's possible that the "protocol" works if done exactly as directed, and I'm sure he's right about the deception of the food and drug companies, etc. However, I feel just as cheated and deceived by the representation of ...
Pros: Nothing pro here at all, period. Cons: Unbelievable suggestion after a lengthy delay for the first
3/4 of the book.
Here again, we have Trudeau compiling a plethora of information on weight loss strategies, that given enough time and energy, you or I could do this list researching on the internet for a few days or weeks. I've done it for many many years, and none ...
Pros: You get a whole week of toilet paper Cons: It is the worst way to make money - to play on people's desperation
UPDATE: Apparently Kevin reads my review - I got a lot of hidden negative feedback in my posts today. Disclaimer: I am a professional with a scientific degree, but this review should be considered as a skeptical analysis and not a scientific ...
Pros: some good advice and interesting theory Cons: too much questionable advice; not much new from other books
Id been looking forward to reading consumer advocate/whistleblower Kevin Trudeaus new book, The Weight Loss Cure They Dont Want You To Know About. Its not because Ive ever had a weight problem, but because I ...
Pros: Some good info in the first few chapters on what NOT to do. Cons: Misleading
Well, let's put it this way..Can you afford to travel to other counties? Do you enjoy getting shots in the rear end everyday? If you said yes then this is the book for you! Now if you are like me and cannot afford to travel to other countries to get ...
Pros: It Works! Cons: A little too exhaustive at points.
I loved this book. And I know this. THIS protocol works! I lost 35 pounds (fat only, no muscle) in 3 weeks and am now able to exercise and keep the weight off. Don't trash the diet until you've actually tried it. The product is available online and you don't need to travel to other countries to get. I do believe the FDA has not approved HCG for weight loss because it would put the diet industry out of business. If you need to lose weight and you follow the protocol exactly (no cheating) you will lose. I thank Mr. Trudeau for writing the book
Pros: Increasing water and exercise is good advice. Cons: The rest of the book.
I admit it...I was suckered into buying this book. .....Anyway, I was hoping for more. In theory it would be really nice to do some or all of the stuff he claims would work..but in reality, one would have to live on a mountain top in biblical times. I hear people lived to a ripe old age then. Being a nurse and having studied anatomy and physiology..it is far more complex then the hypothalamus malfunction. People are born, people die. We have to have some type of life in the middle. Our entire culture would have to change in order for us to do what he recommends. My advice....live your life.....be sensible, and don't get crazy.
Kevin talks on TV about the public being ripped off yet he does the same. In his weight loss cure book the main and vital ingredient is illegal in the US. Kevin went to Germany for the treatment. How can he sell this in the US just to have the public read it and it say you can't do it in the US. He stinks.
Pros: Book also serves as a good paperweight. Cons: Everything about it. GARBAGE.
Fortunately, I borrowed this book from my local library and didn't actually pay any money for it. Had I purchased it, I would be extremely angry knowing that money went to waste on such a foolish excuse for a book.
Mr. Trudeau's book is filled with assumptions, fallacies and drivel. Please do not waste your time or money on this book. The best way - and the proven way - to lose weight is to take in fewer calories than you expend. Plain and simple.
Pros: None for me Cons: Too many web sites-books and research a working person would find it never ending
I'm an ordinary working class lady who for one can not afford. nor can I find Organic food in my small town. I can't travel or afford injections only obtained in another country.I call these things fraud. I paid $25.37 for this book at a local book store.(I make $9.98 per hour) It's more something rich people could afford to do.( Like Opra having a personal trainer-cook ect..)
The research is never ending.A working person wouldn't have the time to do this.
NOT FOR ORDINARY WORKING CLASS
Pros: True and bold, detailed protocol with helpful support Cons: Somewhat repetitve of former books in his suggestions
Dont beleive the critics, listen up to Mr. Trudeau. Even if you apply half the techniques and not the 'weight loss protocol' you will improve your health and lose weight.
Pros: Eat healthy, don't use microwaves or eat at fast food restaurants, sounds like good advice. Cons: At least the original doctor only dealt with wealthy people who could afford his cure.
The key to this diet is injections made from females urine who are pregnant. They are illegal in the US,so what good is this book other then to make Kevin richer and leave in his wake terribly disappointed people who he gave false hope to. He rants on in the book that everything has to be natural but doesn't seem to see anything wrong with injecting men and women with a substance that God intended for pregnant women. There are hundreds of instructions, far beyond the average persons grasp or capability. He also plugs "Trader Joes" (watch his stock rise in that company). I just came back from there and spent $57.00 on a few "organic" items. So aside from having to fly to another country for the treatment you better take out a loan for your grocery bill or start a garden. He also mentions hundreds of web sites and all kinds of supplements and cleansers. I will attempt to consider some of his claims that so many others have also discovered. The good German doctor is probably rolling over in his grave!!!!!!
